Female gorilla Komomo was kidnapping her baby sister Sumomo from Momoka when Momoka was takeing care of Sumomo.
It looks Komomo is better at caring for the Sumomo and does like she is a mother of Sumomo.

It looks Komomo is better at caring for the Sumomo and does like she is a mother of Sumomo. ハオコファミリーの長女ゴリラ「モモカ」が末っ子で赤ちゃんゴリラの「スモモ」のお世話をしているところに長女「コモモ」がやってきて、「スモモ」を誘拐してしまいました🦍😂 ですが、コモモはさすが長女として下のきょうだいの面倒を見た経験が豊富なだけあって、スモモのお世話が非常に上手で母親のように見えます。

I think she is trying to teach her to be more independent. She doesn’t want to walk or be on her own. Mom sees some Need to teach her to be less clingy.

Exactly, Komomo is much better than her sister in taking care of Sumomo. I hope eventually she becomes full time mama. Momoko doesn't seem that into it.

Momoka is fully capable of taking care of her baby. It’s not her time on the mama rodeo.

@@rosemarysynnott6544 , I wonder why Komomo hasn't moved on to her own family already. She is beyond ready to be a Mom and use to Kidnap Baby Momoka all the time...Those videos are hysterical. Komomo needs to be set up in her new family. Then I think Momoka would learn more. Momomo is a great Mom, both sisters are both are wise of what to do with the baby, but I feel Momoka is still young and different stage of maturity where she is still a kid and Komomo is ready to be a Mom and better with the baby. Seems Komomo is trying to say "It's my time to be a Mom, damnit, Give me the baby!!" LOL!

Sumomo is a big girl for 10 months of age. She is so fortunate to have all her siblings wanting to hold her and carry her around.

💯 🥰 I teared up a bit watching too. Gorillas are such magnificent caring creatures. They are so lovely to watch I am very often moved to tears by their love and caring for one another. It’s so pure and instinctive. 🦍♥️

Seems to me Komomo is not kidnapping sumomo…but saving her and in a patient and diplomatic manner so as not to upset the clumsy but well intentioned sister momoka. With brother abetting the. Rescue with timely apppearnce that enables the handoff !

@@staceyrogers4958 Gentaro is her nephew, so I don't see that happening LOL. But Old Monta would probably be a pretty good match. But I think there is a possibility that he may be related to Momoko.

Komomo appears to keep the baby safest. I was holding my breath at the beginning of the video with the baby hanging on Momoka all different ways. It seems Momoka does not like the baby grabbing on her hair. I was afraid the baby was going to hit her head and Momoka seemed to like her hanging upside down. It was a sign of relief when Komomo stepped in ad took Sumomo. Thank you for the video. I loved it.

Momoka and Sumomo are a clumsy riot! Momoka can‘t figure out where she wants her and half the time can‘t reach her. Sumomo’s getting her exercise sorting it out, too!

What a joy it is to see how much this little girl, Sumomo has stolen the hearts of her family. She is surrounded by the arms of love. Already, deep bonds have formed with her siblings which is absolutely heartwarming. I agree with an earlier comment made, this is not Momoko's first rodeo as she is the mother of 5 offspring including Momotaro (so handsome) in Kyoto City Zoo. While she is Sumomo's mother, she trusts her other children to spend time building a relationship with their new precious sister. 💕🇨🇦

I agree Momoka can take care of her, she’s allowing her family to take part. They all knew that baby was born months ago and I can’t imagine how they have felt not knowing where she was and if she was ok. I say, let them all help care for her, it want do anything but make her a better gorilla. She’s got her whole family on her side and that loves her ❤️❤️

We don't see 24 hours a day, so people are jumping to conclusions about Momoko's parenting. Baby does not need to be stuck to her mom alday as she isn't nursing. That's the difference here, or she would be. Doesn't mean Momoko doesn't care for her. This is Momoko's family, who she trusts and understands more than us who see 10 min videos. She can see that the girls and Riki love her and can care for her gently. So I don't see what the big fuss is???!! This isn't her first rodeo.

It's strange that Komomo is trying to keep Sumomo for herself. Ai for example was never trying to get Kiyomasa. Another problem is that Momoko is clearly old and tired (gorillas in the wild live until 35) and she keeps having babies. In one of these videos Momoko was trying to get her back and Komomo refused and left.

I read a study that gorillas do help out in a troop; however, if the mother abandons the troop or is disengaged then other members will adopt the child and take on full time childcare. I wonder which is happening here.

Komomo has done this before with both Momoka and Riki. She is a very experienced babysitter. She would make a great mother if she ever gets the chance.

Hahahaha soo funny 🤣 . Sumomo hasn't gotten the hang of how the piggy back ride works . She has been used to being held up front by the zookeepers . She'll get the hang of it with Momoko and Komoko help . Momoka don't seems to have that much patient and gentleness 😄😀. Too cute . I notice how she is always looking at the camera or for mom . Soon she will feel more comfortable to walk , run and play 🤗😘✨♥️✨

I saw him actually put his belly down so she could get a grip of his stomach and he carried her a short distance away from Riki and Momoka. He sat down with her and kept on eating lol. Not sure which video it was. Anyway, Komomo has been playing keep away from Haoko too lol. Everytime he goes near his baby Komomo's gonzo with the baby 😅😅😅😅.
