When they built it, they called some very famous architects to design it, and I believe it is actually the nicest one in the world. You should look up the story of the original Willy B. He lived his adult life indoors, and the first time he went outside was in this enclosure. They built it for him as a way to make up for all the years of being stuck inside.
I love watching all the gorilla troops on RU-vid, and I really didn't know there were some so close to where I live (Birmingham, AL)! I'm going to have to plan to visit this summer, for sure! It's going to be so hot and humid, so maybe sooner rather than later! Thank you for the video! ❤🦍❤
There's a huge difference with these hairy folks, then with the others overseas. You can see how well they are treated Just from their appearance, and demeanor. Look how fully developed they all are, and tolerant. Look how clean everything is.
Overseas? Do you mean wild gorillas or other zoos? They are treated very well at Zoo ATlanta, I tell people if you were to release these Gorillas tomorrow they would be mad as soon as they realize there is no food layed out everywhere for them, or they don't have a warm shelter inside at night. They are all captive born, so they have no idea what it's like being wild.
@@TheGorillasNextdoor I'm talking about the other zoo's we see daily videos of here on RU-vid. The primates in the wild are a whole different discussion. Looking at the videos for years it is easy to see what disgusting filth they live in, and the less than adequate level of food
I would rather have just the oise from the surroundings you are in. I never like the music. Another gorilla family I watch you can just hear all the people walking passed and watching them. Sometimes get lucky enough to hear the howling monkey or the one that sounds like a man shouting out. The little one is very playful and I'm sure is going to get up to all sorts of mischief. What kind of music should there be? I can't use the original audio because it's nothing but kids screaming in the background, I write music myself but it sounds too dark for this type of content, so I try to pick something middle of the round, carefree, and lighthearted, like the gorillas. I am open to suggestions though..
@@TheGorillasNextdoor The music is fine..actually enjoyable in my opinion. I found it suiting of the environment. Volume buttons exist for those unhappy with your choices. We are here for the gorillas.
