Gorilla trekking is a life changing activity that everyone should experience in a lifetime. Ubuntu Voyages organizes mountain and lowland gorillas treks in the East Africa region. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video.
"what are they doing" idk lady what are you doing in my home with cameras our faces, i think that's what the gorilla is thinking while laying there and vibing
You really welcome Paula am a tourist guide here in Uganda and i work with Rangeland safaris definatly we would like to host you if that moment reach, we can keep in touch and tell you more about these great mountain gorilla, thanks
@@lukedaniel8603 I’d start out with around $5K depending on how far you must travel, how you travel (business class or coach), where you prefer to stay (motel 8 or The Ritz), and how to like to dine (Remen noodles or steak & Lobster). In addition to that, there are tour packages for this one hour tour/hike to see the gorillas. Keep in mind that these people depend on tourism to feed their kids and the last thing you’d ever want to do is not provide proper gratuity!! With all of that being said, you can google travel companies that provide picking you up from airport, seeing that you get to the right places and awesome assistance planning you the trip of a life time. Do some research, see how much you want to spend (don’t forget immunizations and passports) then give them a call to ask what seasons might be less to travel, etc.
Pero como le cuesta al ser humano adecuarse y respetar las culturas autóctonas. ¿no pueden tan solo guardar silencio y buscar adecuarse a la tranquilidad de ellos?.
BEAUTIFUL,MAJESTIC CREATURES. Silverbacks are so muscular and powerful, strenght of nature incarnation... It is funtastic to be among them, even a couple of hours. Dream of my life to take a treking journey like this, but this is so expensive for me-i ve got only little spark of hope to realisation of that. Thank you for video, maybe its one and only chance for me to see Gorillas, but is also a bit frustrating, like taste lolipop thru the glass wall..,ehhh.
Why would u try to antagonize them making those growling sounds ? And don’t say your doing the gorilla calls to let them know your not threat. Cause those sounds ain’t it You would shit your pants if he rose up and charged your group especially if u got one of the women attacked
It seems to me around that 19:50 mark that he is aggravated or concerned about something there within this group. It looks like it was edited out of video.
Just like a group of hunters out in the cut...everyone is on look out and warn the group. They freak out over snakes....some times they run sometimes they kill it with sticks or snapping it from the tail.
Stupid ass the eco-tourism money that comes from these treks is what pays for the protection that allows them to keep living in peace. They were damn near extinct and their numbers were steadily plummeting until they started doing this.
@@capeuntamed Well even before Covid they should still wear a mask. Unlike dogs and cats they can catch germs from us and get sick because they are so similar to us and yet they don't have vaccinations like we do. The same goes for visiting tribes that have stayed isolated from the rest of us. Many times interactions with them ends in their death because they can't handle our germs like we can, so they get sick and die. I think with these tours though they are not as close to the gorillas as it appears, they just have the cameras zoomed in but stay a safe distance back.
Are these people tourists? And if so why are they so close ?Dont they realize that those animals will become so familiar with humans .When not if the poachers show up they won't run.Next thing they see is death and a miserable life in a zoo or worse.Protected or not hasn't any one learned any thing from the last century?
This is official conservation politic Ugandas government. Gorillas are protected by armed guards 24h a day,of corse there is always some poachery risk,by nowadays real small. Why? Money as always. Those gorillas are...in work here. They are working for bodyguards, veterinary care, food helping as essential, and especially for Public RELATIONS with world and local human sociates. Price for tourist tickets are watery eyes high-600-1000 USD for couple hours a day,You can precisely check on Ugandas or Rwandas pages in internet in english. 10 to 20 percent of ticket income are for local people for build positive bond with gorillas, poachery ann bush meat hunting protection or as reparation for damage done by gorillas in farm crops.
Thank you for your response.I am greatful for you insight. And you answered my questions. I hope the conservation of these animals continues. And that of all other endangered species. My gratitude to all in this endeavor.
This is number one, top of my bucket list. I fear being kidnapped more by the bad poacher people because my broke Ass would be killed. No rich family to pay ransom. What a dream!!
Can’t disease be spread by humans being so close to these animals? From all walks of the world coming into these beautiful animals lives. Could end up a sad situation?
it's the gorillas growling, it's what they do when they are content and feel safe, the gurgle is also used by the people at the safari as it's kind of saying we are non hostile
10:58 Dad's finished with his nap. Stop the noisy cameras and BACK UP. Why don't tourists follow their Guides instructions? They brief the tourists before the trek, and instruct them when they're with the Gorillas. TOURISTS PLEASE STOP YOUR LOUD CAMERAS AND BACK UP.
Tourists keep your mouth shut, stop taking pictures. It should be enough for them to look in silence They must not disturb the peace of majestic animal gorillas More reappearing, admire solemnly without so much rumor.
@@NinoG053 Yes, I know... Maybe you're right, and this honors visitors and dignity of a better life for gorillas, this doesn't take away from being asked a little more With the respect these people deserve Of course I would be astonished in contemplation.
Why the hell are you all shouting and not respecting these special Gorillas. you are in their territory so shut up and behave. Who let you in without a proper guide?. Did you trespass? You violated all the rules that other tourists follow. Shame on you. I am surprised the silverback did not chase you.
I agree with the people shutting up. Just watching the gorillas without the commentary is enough. And the person making that ridiculous constipated sounding growl... SHUT UP. This is why I stay away from tourist made videos of animals in the wild. They just have to ruin it with all that yapping.
Here's some education. The growling is done by the guide. It is a technique where they imitate playful gorilla grunts, so they see them as non threatening.
Yeah... I figured that out right after watching another documentary and they were making the grunts etc., should have re edited about the grunts but totally forgot about this comment I made. But I still stand behind the useless nattering from the people and ruining a great observation. So I do stand corrected ‘bout the grunts.
