Goriilaz has a great story arc with their videos. At one point in the story Murdoc the Bass player gets arrested and they replace him with Ace a member of The Gangrene Gang from the Power Puff Girls. It's crazy. Lol

@@katstorm13 Noodle grows up, then gets separated which they then create Robo-Noodle, then Robo-Noodle gets shot up by Bruce Willis, then some more craziness happens, then they are reunited with Noodle. You have to remember in the early days of Gorillaz she was a child and by the time of "Dare" she's a teen, and by now I think she is a young adult. In one of their newer songs, the music video 2-D checks in on her, after they were reunited, when she's sleeping and sighs in relief that she's back. They really go all in with the story of the band and how they interact with each other in the music videos, it's great.

I wasn't aware on how far the timeline continued on, being that Noodle for many years didn't age from 10 and then the same when she was 13. I just figured they made her a young adult and didn't continue aging her. But, they aged her for Phase 5. That is one of the things about the lore I like, they keep getting older.

Feel good inc is anything but “feeling good”. The song is about how humans can be made comfortable enough to ignore any travesty. For instance the very first line of this song is “city’s breaking down on a camels back” and this album was released during the early years of the war in Afghanistan. It is saying that the Middle East holds us in comfortable position through our theft of its oil. And the laughing during the song...is the worlds leaders getting away with it because they’ve subverted us. They are laughing at us.

Er, no. Yoshiyosh is closest to being right. It was in their book "rise of the ogre." They felt like media and entertainment were dumbing people down. 2d's bullhorn was meant to be reminiscent of a political activist, he's trying to wake the people up and failing, De la sol representing the corporate overlords that are just laughing at him, until he gives up and goes back to sleep.

This song has a very deep concept of what humans go through in order to "feel good" but at the start they refer to more of the dark side of feeling good such as addiction. The chorus then comes in and says that loving people makes them feel good and that makes you feel good and it goes around the world like a windmill. My favorite song ever.

The 'Demon Days' album is 🔥. Check out - El Manana/Every Planet We Reach is Dead/Demon Days/Don't Get Lost in Heaven. The Late Dennis Hopper actually recorded the Narrative for 'Fire Coming Out of a Monkeys Head' just before he passed. Yes, 'Clint Eastwood' is 🔥 W/Del but unfortunately, he's just a featured artist, not an actual band member. Gorillaz have such a Sick/Chill Vibe, Enjoy.

Nah, the only real and permanent members are the vocalist Damon Albarn(from the group Blur) and the artist Jamie Hewlett (creator of the Tank Girl comic series). Gorillaz was initially supposed to just be a side project for Damon but it took off so well he kept it going.

Gorillaz is truly an amazing band~ I started listening to them when I was a young teen (my Pop gave me his cd of their first album and I absolutely fell in love with it!) and now I have all of their available albums on my IPod and whenever I need to do any sort of activity I grab my IPod go into artists and set Gorillaz on shuffle 😍 one of the best things about this band is that they don’t do any ONE set music style. That means that they have music for pretty much everyone 😋 the minds behind the Gorillaz bring in a lot of other artists to work with them so don’t be surprised to see/hear people that you might recognize!

Where to start.. this band is awesome and has been around for a while now. The members are 2-D (the vocalist), Murdoc (the bassist), Russel the drummer, and Noodle the guitarist. Their videos tend to tell an interconnected story that spans the whole career of the band (there's even a pretty deep backstory behind all of the members- including things that happen to them before joining the band and in between albums/videos) a lot happens with them. I hope you react to more of their videos (I suggest trying to see them in order from first album to their most recent if you can due to the connected stories in some of them) and when you have caught up on some of their videos then look for a summary of the different "phases" it will tell you the behind the sences/backtstories/ hidden meanings behind the videos. They do like to collab with a lot of artists and rappers. I agree with all of the comments suggestions for what videos you should see next (clint eastwood or 19-2000) and I would add Ascension and then Saturn Barz from one of their more recent albums (Humanz) great songs with great videos.

Apparently, this band likes to make collaborative albums. Every album they made is a collab with lots of music artists such as Snoop Dogg. I recommend Humility and On Melancholy Hill. Also this band has a lore to it. The music videos play in sequence and tell a story. I recommend watching them in order.

There's a whole story line with this band, reaction to Rise Of The Ogre would be solid. It's basically a auto biography of the band by the characters. Starts off with the bass player Murdock (dude giving them ladies moves) accidentally knocking out the singers (2-D ) eye balls that's why the singer has no eyes (also talks about meeting up with the rest, Russell the drummer and Noodle the girl on the windmill). If I remember correctly Gorillaz is really just one British singer and an animator who just collab with lot's of artists, Snoop Dogg was on the Plastic Beach album. MTV cribs even visited them it's worth a reaction too.

Old New York Wayz The main vocalist behind the Gorillaz is Damon Albarn. Damon is also known for his work as the lead singer of Blur. And yes, there’s SO MUCH lore in the Gorillaz universe. I think he should start at the beginning and work up in years. Don’t try to wrap you head around it all since you’ve just been introduced to the group. I’m so happy you got to the Gorillaz L! I could highly recommend you check out their ''Tranz'' Its pretty recent. What i enjoy about Goriliza's is the fact that there's a whole story around their characters. For example that song i recommended had a different bass player because the previous one you saw in this video was in Jail haha. So they actually used one of the characters from the Gang Green Gang in Powerpuff Girls as the new bass player. And the short girl seen playing the Guitar in this video called Noodles is actually all grown up in the music video for Tranz.
