They played it at the 2 concerts they played at The O2 in London, England on 10 & 11 August, 2021 and MAYBE their performance at Boardmasters Festival on 14 August, 2021. And I feel like there was at least 1 or 2 shows on the 2022 World Tour that included the song. But the thing is that Leee John is an absolutely *INTEGRAL* part of the song. You can't perform it without him, and he simply isn't going to be able to tag along with Gorillaz all across the world for over 75% of the year just so he can be on-hand to perform one (1) song with them, y'know? That just isn't feasible or practical. But look at it this way: now the song is all the more special, as it's only ever played live on the few, far-between, and very rare occasions when Leee John happens to be in town and available to perform. But god DAMN he _does_ absolutely *CRUSH* it tho, doesn't he? Especially here at the first performance. This one was always my favorite (I watched all 3 shows live lol). Something about his dancing & pose-strikes are just so absolutely precisely on-point, with downright _SURGICAL_ precision with the song's bests...

This was a promotional show for Song Machine, they played songs from Song Machine. If Sweetie Irie didn't do Clint Eastwood, it would've likely been Phi Life Cypher again like usual - Del has a reputation for never showing up, and the one time he did he almost died falling off the stage.

Bro this is SONG MACHINE Live, not Gorillaz Greatest Hits Live (although many of their greatest hits ARE played here). And idk why you're talking as if they own Del Tha Funkee Homosapian and all they gotta do is snap their fingers and he'll come running. He's notoriously been mostly uninterested in appearing at Gorillaz concerts, and even when he does show it's only if they're performing in the USA and EVEN THEN usually only if they're playing in Los Angeles. This concert happened in London, England. Del ain't flying to London for 1 song. And more importantly, this was a livestreamed virtual concert that took place without a live audience and with only a skeleton crew of socially-distanced technicians. Because in case you forgot....THIS HAPPENED ON 12 DECEMBER, 2020! Aka THE HEIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC'S LOCKDOWNS AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS. Meaning Del literally wouldn't have been able to appear even if he WAS invited and even if he WAS willing to fly from LA to London just to play 1 song he did as a favor to Dan The Automator 20 years earlier. Sounds to me like you're not really a Gorillaz fan, but a fan of 2 or 3 albums they made and you just automatically shit on any new stuff because you only like things if you have nostalgia for them. Enslaved to your past memories of happiness, refusing to create new ones.
