At Cho La, Sep Debi Prasad Limbu, single Gurkha soldier beheaded 9 Chinese soldiers in 1967. His memorial is still there. I have lived there for months.

As a Nepali, I am proud of gorkha. But India and China should not have tried to occupy weaker country like sikkim. If every strong country try to capture weak country than someday so called strong country will also be captured by strong country like England did before. It’s not good according to my view.
Well in Sikkim there was a referendum by Indian government and till now there where no insurgency not seen in Sikkim till date but the case of China Tibet is fully different. We till date never occupy any weak country if we have tendency then we could occupy Bhutan
@@sumanmajumdar7884Referendum? Do you believe there were exact referendum. I went Sikkim, lachung for see snowfall before need several place permission and need to group tour. When i was in lachung we got stuck and the date was in 08-02-2023 because of Delhi said Sikkim local people NID ban due to political issue. Sikkim was that day total curfew and we struck there. When I asked local people what happend, they were very scared and then someone told Delhi very often threats sikkim lose the national identify. Moreover, as a that day was very bad. India is highly keeping eye on Sikkim. You can say referendum there what joke
