Blitz in full Yarak, had some great slips with him on a wet windy Novembers morning!! he hit his first magpie, pulled the tail off it!
he hit a Rook just as they both skimmed a gate! but lost his grip.... he also hit his first rabbit but lost it in heavy cover after a nice powerd flight & struggle !!
and a great slip at a cock pheaseant that squeezed through a 4x4" wire fence with Blitz left holding a club of feathers!! he chased it hard for another 100+m before catching it in a bush but again lost it after a struggle!! he emerged soaking wet and out of breath!! we carried on when a little wren caught his attention, later followed by a flushed Deer that got him going again 🤣
