John still will be my Favorite Gospel

I am decided to read the Holy Bible starting today and I would like to start it with the Book of John as they say that this book talks about the living Messiah! I'd like to know Him very well!!! 😌😇

Just finished reading the gospel of John for first time. ‘Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe ‘

Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him 3 times, to cancel out the 3 times that Peter denied Him. Which probably is what Satan is accusing Peter of.

Great videos! I have used them for my high school classes. I have to include, however, that in John 17 (the high priestly prayer) the MAIN emphasis is unity amongst the followers of Jesus. "That all may be one" (Jn. 17:21). That is a huge point that we cannot overlook!

Everything is going to happen. Everything has happened to me, lost my family, lost my job, lost my income, lost my vehicles, lost myself, and yet, when I accepted Jesus into my life and surrendered myself to Him, everything changed. I have life! I am alive because of Jesus, I have ETERNAL LIFE because of Jesus, and I am joyful everything happened to me because I know I would have been forever lost. Thank you so much for your videos! I love watching these video b4 each book I study but for some reason I think I missed this part 2. I have been reading each book differently this round by reading about 12 chapters of the same book for 1-2 weeks every day. And I kept seeing where the soldiers fall back the first time Jesus say I am, and I couldn't figure out why. I prayed for understanding and once again The Bible Project came through! The LORD has blessed all believers and soon to be believers by your ministry. Thank you for broadening my understanding of his Word. ❤💖❤

Even though I do not believe in god I find these videos nice to watch and educating. To me these gospels are more like a fiction book with a meaning to it. It is really nice to see these videos and it soothes me.

About 2 years ago I was in Amsterdam and took magic mushrooms. I said to those I was with that I was with God...and I started saying I am...(Do not think of it as a grammar term but that of a recognition of self - Awareness-) I said that this is what God was. I have just seen this video and got to the part about the 7 "I am" as God's covenant name...I could not agree more. I am not Christian but I see a huge similarity to my trip and a lot of biblical passages as I explore. 🙏🏻.

Thank you for this wonderful and helpful commentary on the Book of John. It's amazing how the number 7 shows up in so many places in the Old and New Testaments. Jesus over came the world when he resisted the temptations of the devil in the wilderness, as well as when He died on the cross. He overcame the world and the devil when He submitted Himself to God's will instead of his own will in both cases. It was a spiritual slap-in-the-face to the devil who was the original Rebel, and to the world's ways of fear of lack and self-preservation. It is so important to remember that we must receive the Spirit whom He has sent in order to be able to listen to what He is saying to us, so that we can fulfill our own calling. Anything beyond that leads to fruitless and sometimes spiritual harmful activities. God bless you. Very good work!

Mind blown at the order of the miracles and the deeper illustration of resurrecting Lazarus, as the final nail (no pun intended) that makes them crucify Him. Wow! Never realized that.
