This is exactly why they wont let more than three bass players at a time in to music shops. One will lock in to a groove and another will start riffing on it and before you know it there's a full blown jam session, the staff need to go home at some point people!

One of the themes here, an underlying ostinato, is what Jaco Pastorius would play as an outro to Teen Town live, when he was backed by Birelli Lagrene, and Jaco doing so was quite a long time ago. Very inspirational video here!

My Brothers, this is bitter sweet. I’ve played the B-3 in church most of my life; switched to bass about 2.5 yrs ago. This inspires me to get in the shed, but to simultaneously look in the mirror and say to myself-most bass players will not arrive at this level. This is awesome...thanks for sharing your skills & talents. Be well and in between paid gigs, a few times a year bless a church of your choice with your music. God be with you.

This is a great channel. All 4 of these gentle men are stupendous bassists. I too play multiple instruments. Drums first, vocals second, and last but not least bass. Been playing bass for about 20 years off and on. No were near these guys level. I just play to have fun.

Man, besides the grove, which I am playing along with for 4 days now, them bases are also soooooo beautiful. I'm in love with the gold metal flake bass w/white inserts into the fret board. Never in all my 69 years have I really liked a bass just because of how it looks. I'm going shopping!

Well, these guys are awesome musicians, but *this* here is just a demonstration, you wouldnt actually listen to that. Actually making a song groove, playing a tasteful and exciting fill, is totally attainable with practice. I don't think these guys would want you to stop playing :-)
