Season 1 & 2 derena were so cute but serenate were better for serena as she matured. Nate stabilised her and kept her from crazy mistakes whereas I feel like Dan sometimes drove her to these things and allowed them. Nate understood her more and Dan just wanted to.
Amy03b Benson Nate and Serena has the same personality. It was a match made in fictional heaven! Dan was too pretentious and judgmental. The entire series Serena could never tell Dan the truth.
