I like the olive green finish too, after seeing Bill Black's Kay bass which looked a similar colour, maybe it reminds me of vegetation and a natural woody look. Nice crispy tone of this attractive UT10 ukulele.
thanks to Matt at World of Ukes (awesome guy) I was the first Canadian to have access to this *colour* series in tenor by aNueNue. love it. great model both concert and tenor. 🎉❤
Thanks for another great review! Been looking forward to this one. It’s about time Anuenue released this in a tenor size. Btw it would be cool to see you review the guitar version of these. I don’t think there are any reviews of those.
Glad you’re feeling yourself again, so to speak. I’ve just bought a soprano uke and I’m selling a concert, so the last thing I need is a new ukulele of any sort… then I saw this review and thought “Ooh, that matches my ‘phone!” 😁
I JUST bought a UC10, and I love it! I admit I prefer the normal dots and maple headstock, but the tenor sounds good. I kind of want one of the sopranos now...
Welcome back, and don't worry, your rambling tells us a lot. There really is something special about this line of ukes isn't there? From where I sit, the tenor had, as expected a bigger, more resonant tone. But the concert is my favorite size and I end up liking both of them. Like Tom below, I too am a fan of natural finished wood. In a guitar, I wouldn't care for the painted top, but for me the ukulele always means fun. These look like fun, sound great, and offer decent value. Thanks for reviewing this one.
Glad you're feeling better, Baz! Nice uke, I love the look and the sound is very nice for the price. I don't mind the extra price if you want the color. I find it quite an interesting ukulele! Thanks for the review!
Great review, thanks Baz. Bought one of the maple versions when they first arrived at Sus. Glad I bought it, cracking little instrument to have lying around to pick up and strum in passing! Pick guard is a little annoying as I sometimes catch it on the up-strum.
Thanks Baz, glad your back, I really like the green as well. I have a concert, played it to death and the pick guard is still fine. Disappointed with the cost difference in the new colour choices, so not quite ready to push the button myself. Mainly due to seeing Matt’s demo of the Soprano. Which I also really like. Looks like my Chrimbo present depends on what size I want to go with. I think for the money, all sizes punch above their weight for looks and sound. Have a great week
Happy to hear you're feeling better. 😊 This is a beautiful one. I love the contrast and the colors. I like the sound too. I wonder if the soprano version would sound a little too thin compared to the sound of this tenor. The extra cost for the simple yet elegant upgrade does not seem fair; however I am sure there are many who would not mind paying the difference. Thank you for another enjoyable review. 😃 🎵
Would Living Water strings suit this ukulele? Thanks Baz. I put some on a charity shop ukulele a friend of mine gave me and L.W. strings made it sound amazing.
Thank you for this nice and well done review. We like Anueues the sound and playability, but not the color. (we play two if you follow some songs from us you can hear them)
Glade you feel better my friend. I really like these ukuleles. They are a bit bright, but for me I like the sound due to the fact I mostly play sopranos. The price is right but don’t be surprised if they raise them all up to 185 ponds or so. Prices are out of control everywhere. What’s not to love with this brand!? …Thanks as always….DOC
There fantastic, I've actually passed on 2 anuenue lately and they were cheep, might grab one of these in concert size, hope there range in colour isn't subject to size as with some companies, I di like that forest green 😍👌 Best comparison from anyone Fantastic reviews 👏👏💯
Oh no now you have done it !!!!!! I’m like you just love them I also have the correct with a low G and a set of worth browns love the pairing, but just ordered one yesterday of world of ukes but i was really tied weather to go blue or green 😂😂 now that you have seen it in the flesh you like the green 🤔 I’m no good at making decision lol
I did change my order from blue to green and boy I’m glad I did love the green, low G worth brown is my setup and it’s just is amazing for the price, so playable and so nice to look at I’m actually thinking of putting a pickup in it I think it worth doing, yes if I play my moon bird then play it yes you get the difference but that does not take away from the sound it has is bloody good
I just today bought this uke, will take a while to get to Australia! I have watched every one of your reviews. There is nothing under your utube videos that would lead me to a place where I could send you a financial Thankyou. Please what do I do?
Hope you’re feeling better! The green is stunning, I’d probably take the guard off and put add a pair of Aldrins Aquilas just for the green value. The only thing that stops me from buying a Anuenue brand is the nut width. I love the sound of the AMM3 to the point that I’d definitely buy one if it wasn’t for the nut width.
Thanks for a very Nice and well done done review 😀. I like The sound of the uke, but not the color. Natural mahognany is my favoriter on ukuleles and guitars. And a bit of critic: spend more time on sopranos on behalf of The tenors...please...
Actually - if you check the split on the site it's pretty even between sopranos, concerts and tenors (it's about 110 sopranos in total vs about 120 concerts and 120 or so tenors)
Out of about 400 or so reviews, i'd say it's pretty even - and it depends on time of year - sometimes there are more sopranos than tenors - it changes over time - that's just the snapshot at the moment. And, actually, if I add in sopraninos, piccolos etc it actually pushes the small scale higher than tenors - about 125
