WOW! A Baz-smile-inducing, SUS-exclusive 199-pound baritone 🤩. If I weren’t already awash in instruments and in the US instead of the UK, I would be at the store camping out Iike people do for iPhone releases 😂 So you new baritone players and lucky UKers won’t have me to compete with. OTOH after hearing it, who knows-may place an international order one day!
Another really good bang for buck instrument, you're on a roll. IMO it would have looked nicer with darker binding but oh well. You know what might be cool looking, stain the pick guard but still let the grain show through. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
Great review Baz. So very pleased that I managed to get one of the first batch, been considering an "acoustic" baritone for some time. Looked at the Iris but just couldn't get over that blue pick guard (even though love blue guitars - a lot!). Was about to hit the button on an Aurora when Alex's post announced the Carabao Lite. Having an original Carabao Tenor that I'm incredibly pleased with, thought why not. And so pleased with it. Your review does great justice to this wonderful instrument.
I love a Baritone maybe a little touch of colour maybe a darker binding but that’s just my personal taste but what a lovely instrument for under £200. Another great review Baz 👍

I have the solid wood version of the Carabao baritone and love it. Was twice the price of this lite version but worth it for me. This looks great value for the price though and no wonder it sold out quickly. I have a Flight Phantom tenor and both are excellent in material and workmanship. Another good review 👍
Not in the market for another baritone, but if I were, I would prefer a pin bridge. Just prefer a design in which the method of string attachment is helping to hold the bridge in place, as opposed to seemingly trying to tear it off. I also prefer to control the pickup with a foot pedal or at the amp, rather than gizmoing up the instrument. Very nice price point, though.
Yes Baz they look and sound great 👍 I watched Alex's video when they got them in. Didn't have a lot of time to think about getting one. They'd sold them all... 😂

I don’t play a baritone but I like the sound of good baritones. I like the looks of this ukulele as I see you do. I do not like pickups but that is just me. I like the slit head on this size. I would like it in the Tenor. The price here in the US is good. I really like the sound of this one…. Thanks for an another excellent review…..DOC
They might have disappeared from the shelves due to the possibility of being tuned to the first four strings of a guitar - which might suit guitarists wanting a change ?
