Thanks for the review Barry. Those fret edges may also be due to the wood drying out which I have seen in the past especially with stuff from China. I agree with you about it being nothing major but at that price well the seller can not put much more in it that what he has I guess. Thanks again. Always like your reviews.

I bought the flight nuc 310 concert model of Amazon for 50€ to start out. Never played before or seen a ukulele in the flesh. It will do me until I've learned some songs and got the basics. then I'll go to a music store and test out some more quality ukes. hard to find vids on these ukes but I figured it was decent for 50

I just got it used on amazon for 22,80€! with the gig bag and everything! :O i cant wait to receive it

Looks very much like a smaller version of my Tanglewood concert but seems pretty quiet for a soprano! Looks good for beginners but those fret edges might be an issue for kids

I bought a NUS-310 Flight Natural Series Blackbird Soprano, which I think is comparable to this one, sounds the same, and has the same model number. But it is black with Celtic knotwork. Anyway, that is the only Flight I will ever buy. I got it, and it had sharp frets, and some cosmetic issues like a very rough edge to the sound hole. I sent it back and got another. It had loads of cosmetic issues, including white spots on the black ukulele and uneven finish as well as the logo saying "Fligh" isntead of "Flight." These frets were awful as well, but not quite as sharp. I returned that, sort of done with the whole situation. When I emailed Flight explaining the two ukuleles and the problem even with their logo, I got a condescending response! They suggested I return it and buy elsewhere that it was a storage problem. Maybe with the frets, but the letter T? the sound hole rough on both ukes? I don't think so! I had heard such great things about the company, I never expected that.

I got this one today. I was sure my guitar is enough, but took this uke in my hands at the store, ended up bringing it home.

I just bought one couple of days ago and started playing for the first time in my life, its such a fun. Just want to let you know that they fixed two of the issues you mentioned here. They have side markers now and frat edges are not sharp anymore:)

I bought my first ukulele a year ago and it is a cheap soprano and I really like it but I need a new one better one so should I buy a better soprano uke or a concert size uke?

Hi, great video. I plan to buy a ukulele for my daughter 10th birthday. Here in Serbia do not have a lot of choices when it comes to this instrument, but we have a flight ukulele which is described here and aria ukulele. I personally prefer the aria, but I'm interested in your opinion. Which is better or no difference? The exact model is Aria ACU 1. Do you have some experience of this model? I think to some degree people are missing the point. You walk into a music instrument shop blind, as a beginner. If this is one of the limited selection available, then is it a safe choice? The answer is yes. Geographically this brand can have active salesman covering a country and you will find the brand in most shops. This brand is in Central European countries. Can you leave the shop with a safe, good value uke, that will serve well for the beginner period? For this model, yes you can.

Do you know if the NUS380 very similar?

How long does the tuning keep? Does it "relax" quickly?

Badly made, not worth that much money, I mean if you have to file down edges on a new instrument and you have wobbly tuners then it's not quality made
