Arya changed completely the heart of Sandor and his way of seeing life, and sandor saved Arya, greatest duo of all time ...

This just made my whole soul tear up. Their relationship was so beautiful. Even if he through he never care about anything or anyone he cared, and died caring for her wellbeing. He didn’t want her to end like him. He loved her as much as he was capable of loving someone. He died protecting, fighting for her, and protecting her from her own self. Love you Sandor. My favorite character in the show.

Sandor’s relationship with the Stark girls just always gets to me. This made me emotional .. 😭

He was the father she lost as a child. She was the only one who called him by his name.

I love how cold Sandor may seem but deep inside he truly cares for both Arya and Sansa. He has protected them both from harm’s way in his own way. He helped them open their eyes to the world around them through his actions because he never was good with words. To many he may be the intimidating Hound but to them, he is an honorable man who has a good heart with a bad upbringing.

Funny how Sandor saved Arya in the end... but i guess its to be expected when a hound watches over a pup.

He watched her grow into the warrior she is. He protected her. That’s love ! Hard love! I am saddened he died but he died in the most epic way. Honorable. Through pain comes triumph . I’ll miss him. But Arya knows what must be done. For the final episode. The NORTH ALWAYS REMEMBERS!🐺💙!

When she called him Sandor... I lost my shit. I don't know how such a simple gesture could make such a dramatic impact, but it certainly did for me.

One of the most well developed relationships in the history of television. The ending was perfect. We all were with Arya in the beginning, having him on her list and all. Yet as the show progressed, we develop a connection to the hound. The thank you at the end was beyond perfect.

I loved their relationship so much. I am so glad that they at least got to say goodbye to each other. That being said I legit would have loved a spin off of those two traveling the world together like Duncan and Egg.

I think Sandor and Arya have a father-daughter relationship. He still has the empathy to feel how does it feel to lose a father in a very young age which make him her protector. I love them so much 😭

The Hound was called by his name by Arya and she thanked him. What a powerful touching moment! I was disheartened by the fact that he died. When they both said they were not returning to Winterfell I was wondering what was going to happened to them. Sandor truly was fond of Arya!

i’m not a hyper sensitive nit picky fan and i do think the writing isn’t nearly as good at least for the last couple seasons. but can we ALL agree Sandor and Arya have been just as good? The Cleganebowl was perfect.

I see a lot of people saying this reduced a bad ass assassin to a little girl again but I disagree. It opened a human from being dead. Well, she isn't real, but you get the idea. She can now have a life instead of being a slave to her past.

There has been so many complaints about this episode because the plot was not what they would written. But the character moments, like this one, were excellent. A lot of us may disagree on the overall quality of the episode, but the actors hit their marks. Especially this moment.

Okay so in season 1 I hated the hound but you know what he's the light at the end my arya and gendry love story living on so when he told arya to go home and show her where she was headed if she continued on the path she was going he woke her up showing her she doesn't want to be him in this week's episode I have a whole new respect for him the game of thrones God's have smiled down on me and arya lived while the hound died like a boss

We all know from Historical books and scripts how Harsh medvil life was, Sandor was A man of heart and Experience. Unlike Most of the people of that era The Hound was ahead of his time when it came to Rational thinking. RIP Sandor now you can have all the free drinks you want and all the Chicken you can eat.

The Hound was one of the most underrated characters in the show. He was my favorite. He protected both Stark girls when he had no reason to. He showed true remorse when he was burying the farmer and his daughter that he had robbed. He was the most bad-ass killer in the show, and one of the most interesting characters. I don't read the books, but I'd read his back story. He really loved Arya though he would never admit it. Makes me wonder if he had lost a daughter or sister or some female family member that he loved, and saw her in the Stark girls, and protected them for that reason. He would have killed his brother easily if he had still been mortal. I wish he could've killed Gregor and survived. I would have loved to see him smile while watching Arya escape King's Landing from the broken battlements. So many missed opportunities, lost at the hands of incompetent writers!!!!!
