Thank you for posting this excellent information. I am currently petsitting a sweet Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) with liver cancer. We've put her on the Budwig cottage cheese/flax mixture along with Essiac Tea capsules. I had some questions about keto for dogs, and you answered every question I had. It stands to reason that a (mostly) carnivore would benefit greatly, and I love that you have set up the testing procedures because as you say, there is no placebo effect because dogs don't know they are part of an experiment! And better yet, the "guinea pig" dogs already had cancer, wasting away in an animal shelter, so it's a win/win!
