Is better to use the hanger bracket type that snap on each inner edge of the gutter and then screw in at an angle. Much more secure than those smooth spikes that have little holding power.

I think those are fine to use as long as you have good wood to hit with the screw. Nails should illegal on a gutter because they all loosen and slide out over time. Thanks for watching!

My 60 year old house has those screw and sleeve sort of hangers all around, except they are not screws but nails. The nails pop out out. I think using both is the best way to go.

I've had those and in time every one will pull out. Nails have no place on a gutter system but contractors love them because they are cheap and puts more money in their pockets while the home owner suffers from the contractor's greed and short sightedness. Thank you for watching and work safe!

If you would have looked behind that gutter you would have found the rotted facia board that was originally holding the gutter up sturdy. Ask me how I knew that.

Does the 7" work on any gutter width? Seems like this is a good fix for loose gutters that are otherwise perfectly fine.

I think it has them all covered except the commercial 6 inch gutters. If you have the 6 inch, I would check with the maker. When I was researching this, I may have seen a 9 inch option. Thanks for watching!
