Got My Mojo Workin'! Richard Hayman's "Voodoo" 

I've been worried sick and missed your unique -waffling- insight. That deck for 40bucks sounds great! I wasn't keen on the record but it got alot better when you started sticking pins into Michael, I'm not saying he deserves it of course, actually he deserves worse, much worse, cheers 👍

True story: I went to summer camp and later entered RISD with David Hyman, son of Dick Hyman of the Dick Hyman Trio. None of this has anything to do with Dick Hayman other than my predisposition to grandstand. My fear of needles is a well known fact. A nurse chased me around the Doctor's office just to draw blood and I need to lie down every time a needle is stuck in one of my veins. So yes, I did cringe a bit, but not because of the sewing needles in your hand. It was the sight of a growed azz man holding a dusty raggedy muffin kind of sumpin'. Pitiful. Just pitiful.

Pretty awful. HOWEVER, there's a great new CD out by James McClaskey and the Rhythm Band from New Orleans. Title is Later On. Guitar and drums are played by Tuba Skinny members. James sounds like a voice coming to you from a 1937 Zenith radio, in a good way. I heard them do a show at Vaughan Lounge in December. It was the high point of my trip, and at the top of all my live performance experiences.
