Nun chai (nun means salted n chai means tea) .. So nun chai means salted tea.. Itz our local cultural tea which every kashmiri loves to drink in breakfast every morning and early evening around 5 pm every day.. In kashmir v have habit to drink nun chai plus chapati /girda in breakfast n 5 pm (total twice a day) n at 11 pm v used to drink Lipton tea (sugar tea) , at 1 pm v eat rice +veg /non veg in lunch and same thing in diner at 9:30 pm... Means in total v used to eat 5 times a day...3 times tea in a day ( two time salted tea and one time sugar tea) and two times rice+veg/non veg (one in lunch n other in dinner)... Thiz iz common in every kashmiri home either in village, town, rich or poor
