Timing is everything, as we learn today while looking for temporary lodging at a Thai Resort. We get soaked by some of the first rains of the season during our house hunt but good fortune is awaiting us at the end of the rainbow where we find our new home.

You are in Thailand, hire a rental company that does the job for you. I did that the last time I moved in Pattaya, it was very convenient and very cheap for the service provided.

Hello Lucas what a nice video the new rental looks great and I’m sure you won’t miss the horrible traffic in pattaya it never seems to get any better I spent time in Rayong and I like it better more places to relax and go in water etc

many great things but will lack the network and variety of offerings available in Pattaya, thai noodle house meals brilliant and economical. big call spending a lot refurbing a rental though. those windmill places for temporary very nice. understand getting away from traffic and city prices.

Good luck with the move. I have just moved and was going to do it myself Hua Hin to Paknam Pran. In the end we got company with a truck. 2 hours loading 1 hour travelling and 1 hour to unload. 4,500 Bhat. A good job well done

Great video and nice area of Rayong, I moved into an hotel just around the corner from the house you are renting to get away from smoke in the north ,very peaceful with nice restaurants and not expensive away from the beach area, also good markets in Ban Phe ,you will soon find .

Yes I like that place too. Lucky the guy called you back. I really liked those windmill houses ; where exactly are they ? That would be my choice for a month or so stay. That fruit looks very interesting. You said it will have the consistency of custard when frozen - what does it compare to taste wise ? I think you will be satisfied with your new digs. Thank you Lucas, 9.20 mins in mentioning room for the Bamboo Hut, how could you leave that behind after all the love went into building it! 🙏 Talking about road side rotisserie cooked chickens, I remember when the road between Pattaya & Jomtien was being up graded there was that much dust being thrown up, we use to say, who would like a Dusty Chicken dinner!!!

GREAT IDEA = That big room as you walk in would be excellent for HOUSE HOCKEY matches . Bring a hose in & put liquid soap on the floor using plastic bag secured with rubber bands. Get good at it and then put out flyers in the area. Get a league going with wagering the whole 9 yards. This could turn into something big if handled right and could spread out into a national even worldwide thing....Let me know what you want to do.

Looks like you found a nice house. Good luck, plenty of room to plant a garden and build another hut. When it comes to Durian, I'm glad it's not smell-o-vision. I'll take Jackfruit. In the market they had those small red hairy fruit. In the Philippines they're called Rambutan. Wonder what they're call in Thailand. I gotta say that Lan is more energetic and has a better figure than most of the 20 year old girls around Pattaya. Looking forward to the moving day videos. Cheers!

A quiet area but a good drive to central pattaya. It gives you a good chance to present Rayong on your channel. Personally, I think that it is a good choice unless you need to be in Pattaya often. Good luck with your new home and thanks for the video.

A great house rental with a yard area that has huge scope and only 150m from the beach, did I hear you say? I played golf in Rayong many times in about 2010 and didn't realise that that Rayong was a costal province🤣🤣

Yes, durian in the freezer is the way to go. But do not have a drink (alcoholic) when you eat durian. My wife warned me many years ago...like the idiot I am, I dismissed her claims. Wow, that is one experience I do not want to go through again. Congrats on your new abode. I'm sure you'll have a great time....Cheers.
