There is no way she took her own life, she had a heart full of love for God and had dreams and plans in doing service to God through ministry the Lord laid on her heart. Anyone who is in absolute love with God does not harm themselves, they're peaceful and full of faith in God. It was her marriage she was trying to get away from, for a Godly woman to want to get away from her husband is a woman who has been abused and it wasn't easy for her to do. Justice for Mica 💜🙏💜

@AlanaElvington-dw2es yep. Also another commenter pointed out somewhere that his choice of wording in his announcement is very telling. He called it "self-induced" not self-inflicted." Big difference. It implies that whatever he did to her, she brought it on herself for leaving. I've never heard it referred to as induced. They tell on themselves every time. Their ego won't allow them to fly under the radar.

I am so so sorry. I am just so sorry. Let me guess the story; she didn't have a history of mental illness - but as soon as she started telling the truth about who her husband was, pastor gently told her family, who've known her all her life, that she was suicidal and mentally ill - and they believed his side of the story that she was mentally ill. Instead of believing the woman who they lived life with and saw her strength, they believed that disgusting snake because he was supposedly a "man of god". did I miss anything? This is my life. By the grace of God I escaped my ex's attempt at my life. When i tried to tell the truth to authorities, doctors, and family - they almost admitted me to the mental hospital as insane. He tried to drug me. I saw a major drug deal - he took me and my daughter with him! He is still preaching and pretending. My daughter has to live with him 50% of the time, and sees him drug trafficking and talking about young boys who he likes. but the world continues on - saying "what a good godly man he is". He has paid off the courts with his drug money - my daughter heard him talking about it with her church going grandparents. I believe you. Go after him, carefully, and get him put in jail. For your sister, for your sisters brother, for my daughter, for all the women who are not believed simply because they are women and women are "hysterical." I'm just so sorry.

@@iHeartAmySue I'm very sorry you have to go through that. It's true that so many women go through the same thing and it's simply glossed over due to heresay. JP was going to have her cremated to cover himself, but her family quickly put a stop to that because they want the body examined. I have full faith that this man WILL be brought to justice for his countless crimes. On his day of judgement, Jesus would declare that he never knew this man. ​@amysue1616 I am so sorry. I too went through something very similar. Church also believed him and not me. Only be the grace of God I was able to escape with the children. Had full custody with him Only every other weekend. After 4 yrs of separation he recently took his life. Dec 27th, 2 days after our daughters birthday. What a selfish man to do this and near or baby's birthday. But in an odd way we are doing better. I don't fear for my life anymore and my body can actually relax for the first time in a very long time. I hope you and you child are doing well for the situation you are in.

The most dangerous time for a woman in an abusive relationship is when she’s trying to leave. She had filed for divorce AND a protective order.

It’s crazy to think one needs a protective order or has to worry about abuse from a Pastor. I’ve seen spiritual abuse (mental) from a controlling religious leader but physical against wife should be auto dismissal

I literally came here to say the same thing. The fact that he mentioned having her on ‘video’ talking about her supposed mental illness is a huge red flag.

My hubs and I are desperately in love, but we sometimes go days without meaningful conversation for many reasons, such as fatigue from work, being at work, busy with projects, etc. It’s called life. In earlier days, it was due to the needs of children, etc. Right now, I’m sick in bed, and hubs is mowing the lawn. He checks on me every now and again. But to say we spend every day and every night together just talking and talking is ridiculous. Like who is this pastor trying to fool? Who is he trying to convince?

When he said "we were talking" that meant that HE was the one doing all the talking, which is a very common behavior for control freaks (as is grooming and marrying very young girls).

I was thinking that's what he wanted. The control over her all day and night. He also had an issue with her being so close to her family.

Agreed, but they have to have undeniable proof to take someone in front of a Jury. Give them time and I’m sure they’ll eventually have a case strong enough. This just happened a week ago. I see people getting angry that he hasn’t been arrested, but people need to let the police department do their job. It takes time to build a case against someone, even if it is obvious.

Not usually, no. I believe the preferred method is pills. Unfortunately, I know this first hand. Tried twice. Both times, it was pills. Thankfully, no longer suicidal.

Roughly 15% use a firearm, which seems higher than it should. But when there’s a gun in the household, women are 5x more likely to be killed by it, via their spouse, or significant other.

@@karinaz8756 I’m well aware of that. I gave stats to th OP saying women never use guns for it. They do, but rarely. I don’t believe she killed herself. If there was a gun in the home, she became 5x more likely to be killed by it, *by her spouse.*

The police will find it. Guaranteed. Funny thing about being abused. Once you've seen that kind of evil, you can never unsee it. Narcissists all follow the same playbook. It's all about pattern recognition. We can see behind their mask. Her obituary was all about him. He made sure he brought up her mental health struggles and the fact he has videos. Plus he was seen out with another woman just days after her death. It's obvious. Narcissists think theyvare smarter than everyone else. But their ego is so big they can't help but tell on themselves.
