It’s funny because how Youngjae’s song drew you in to listen, his voice drew me in to this group as well.

I think it’s Jinyoung’s signature; lyric that touch your heart and also hit you hard. Most of his songs are just like that.

I'm so glad GOT7 got a reaction video like seriously their self produced side tracks are AMAZING and I wish more people realized that. By far this one of those albums I JUST CAN'T pick a favorite. This album gets me all hyped up one moment, then calm, and then gives me the urge to start dancing and then makes me nostalgic. Maybe the impact each song has on one is what makes it so beautiful? This album is extremly good though!!!

Now you need to listen to JJP's VERSE 2 album. JJP is the duo of GOT7 's Jinyoung and JB, which debuted 2 years ahead of GOT7 in 2012. After 5 years of hiatus as a duo, they finally made a comeback last year with the title track TOMORROW, TODAY but the entire album is a bop!! It takes you to a journey.

This is why you should listen to all GOT7 b-tracks. All songs are bop especially when all the members participate in producing the songs. 💚 Thank you for the first listen 💚💚💚

Not to burst your bubble but Yugyeom's Fine was the last track because he's the youngest and the solo songs are arranged by how old they are (except for JB, because he's leader)

You guys listening to the entire turned me into a mush of emotions... I'm glad you appreciated their efforts! Their melodies are really good, thanks for pointing that out Kevin. Every song has its charms and quirks and interesting qualities but one cannot deny that being their own musician made this album a very special present to all ahgases. Special mention to Jinyoung's and Youngjae's solo tracks (which to this day, I haven't read the lyrics yet, even after almost 3weeks of nonstop listening to it.) they've brought their lyric game up and wow I ended sobbing on one and hurting on the other (again, without knowing the lyrics) I'm truly grateful that Umu liked Nobody Knows that's why you decided to do this first listen. I can never thank u enough. The last 2 albums prior to Present: You are worth a listen to in case you're interested but l even if you won't, the GOT7 community is thankful for the effort. Gbu all

I'm ecstatic that you confirmed the utter brilliance of Yugeom's Fine. I've been listening to it on repeat ever since the album came out. Most of it sounds to me like an endless Ebmaj7 - D7 progression over and over, but the Eb frequently switches to its relative minor, Cm. Do you hear the Bm chord apart from the intro? There's also a G minor in there somewhere. I keep thinking the song might actually be in G minor, althought the majority of it seems centered on an bVI-V7 loop. It would be really nice if you could write out the chord progressions, when you edit the reaction. It would be great to get something reliable - this is the type of song that will show up with horribly wrong chords all over the place pretty soon. ###

Umu is literally me listening to Kevin analyze the music because my ears can only recognize that something is musically "werid" aka Yugyeom's "Fine", but my ears aren't good enough to be able to tell what chords they are so I love coming here and hearing what Kevin has to say about it :,) Like...bitonal kpop song....O_O Kevin, please give me your amazing theory knowledge and perfect pitch TT ((thanks to you both for the reaction to this album!! Got7 has written almost all of their b-sides since 2016, you really see their talent in them. Please give them a lot of love! For anyone who thinks that "goodbye youth, see you again" in My Youth lyrics means that he will grow up and leave his youth to be an adult, you are quite wrong. Jinyoung said that he is deeply inspired by The Little Prince book when making the song, which make him want to show the importance of chilhood naivety, even for adult. The lyrics shows how he (and most people) get quite messed up during their youth (started being pessimistic, sceptical, etc), and as he grow up he want (and will) to be the same old himself that is positive and happy. So in conclusion, he will become his own adultself hero by bringing back his childishness. I am sorry for the broken english, but I really want to tell the real meaning about the song, as I was confused by the 'goodbye youth' lyrics at first, then Jinyoung kinda explained it in an interview (or fanmeet). Hope you can find strength in this song🍑

If you are surprised by how good melodies they produce, then you should listen to 7 for 7 and JJ Project's Verse 2 albums. Their b-tracks (which the members write and compose) are ALWAYS the gem, just like this one with Present: YOU. People often overlook how amazing their albums are. They just like to try and write new things. They compare themselves as rainbow, the 7 members each has their unique musical color, but when they are together, they are something special. This really shows in this album - you can see how different each member's songs are. But together, they are this bright, energetic, fun group. To be very honest, I didn't like Bambam's Party that much, tho I loved the other 2 songs he wrote in 7 for 7 and Eyes On You. It's a very different vibe, especially Remember You. Was my favorite song in 7 for 7. Trust me, Party is not his best work. For My Youth, the co-producer said Jinyoung poured his heart and soul into making the song, especially the lyrics. It really hits me hard. I teared reading it while listening to the song. Youngjae said Nobody Knows is a song with his personal experience, that makes the song even more emotional. I am glad you liked it cos it's the first time Youngjae showing this side of him. I loved Yugyeom's Fine, it's so out of ordinary and this really is his style. He also wrote No One Else, which is also one of my fav in this album. His other songs from the past two albums were great too but I really liked how spooky this one gets. OMW is amazing, and I like how JB stood his ground and rejected JYP's suggestion into making Sunrise more elements. He wanted to keep it as simple as it is and it really delivers. Made It is not my genre so I can't say more. But OMW is produced by Jackson so I know he can write a song that I REALLY REALLY like too :) The song fits Mark's vocal and style SO WELL. He really did a great job in giving Mark an amazing song!

I love you guys, and that is exactly my reaction when I first hear Yugyeom's Fine. "Is this a horror song...... wait... Lets continue listening... " AND I DIG IT!! I love it so muchh ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I think we ahgasae need to get ready for surprises. 😆🤭

Among the songs that all members sing as a group (No One Else, Save You, Enough, I Am Me), I really love Save You the most. Maybe most people didn't really pick it as the "most favourite" cus of whatever reason. But for me, that song is just really hype and I like the way it goes fast and the beats keep changing. It's kinda have been long since GOT7 sings this kind of song. Asides from the title track. It brings back to around Hard Carry era where almost all the non title tracks are so crazy with fast beats and well, I just like it that way.
