Love how Shuheui was getting his ass beat and every one of his friends was worried... right up until he released his sword. Then they're all "Welp, his opponent's doomed."
I'm under the impression that Kubo designed Yumichicka and Hisagi's abilities with similarites and their fight during the SS arc has more meaning than at first glance.
It's really awesome to see you starting up a new Bleach series, can't wait to hear what you have to say about the Vice-Captains. Hisagi's definitely a fan-favourite, and I feel like his popularity really blossomed in the Fake Karakura Town arc. It was strange then the way he was sidelined a bit in TYBW. Still, he's a great character - I'd have enjoyed more introspection from him on his relationship with Kazeshini but there's only so much time in the manga. Looking forward to the next video.
I think my favorite moment with Shuhei was in his fight with Findorr. Not with his shikai and how it looked, but all of the other captains and vice-captains' faces when he released it.
Girls: hi shuhei!!! Shuhei: *look... *look away... Girls: aaaahhhh!!!! He's so cool!!! Girl 1: i love you shuhei!!! Give me your seeds!!! Shuhei: shut up... It's not that cheap... Girl 2: I'll buy it!!! With my body!!! Shuhei: huh... Whatever... Rangiku: *ankle her arm around shuhei's head Shuhei: your boobs hitting my face Rangiku: that's fine... I like it... Shuhei: whatever... Girls:.......................
I think he should keep the naruto format of thumbnails like "sasori was a doll" "kisame was a shark" except "Shuhei reaps", or "Izuru lifts his head" lol "Byakuya Scatters"
His investigation of the postwar events and truth about the Spirit King really gave him a degree badassery even if it put him at risk of being brainwashed and or killed by Yoruichi for asking too many questions. Also like that his Zanpakuto Spirit is his opposite, he's a deliberate warrior while the spirit is wild and dangerously blood thirsty.
How the hell do you go from "Winds of Death" to "Undying Hanged-man's Noose"? Shuhei might just exceed Sasuke in being the most edgiest anime character.
The Bleach anime may have gotten a lot of flak for the pacing issues (rightfully so at times), but its animation quality was probably the most consistent of the long runners at the time. And it got better as the series went on.
I remember being blown away at the animation for the Lost Agent arc. Ichigo's fight with Ginjo is *still* one of the most visually breathtaking anime fights I've ever seen.
@@brandonmorrison6371 Eh... It, like Naruto, only got the good animation during a certain fight. But Bleach really suffered from having dull, bland scenery and average animation outside of specific fights that are few and far between.
The same way that the noble zampakutos that drain the life of the user. Who the hell would want to use that? Nanao does it because she doesn't have other choice and Tsukishima because he is a fucking psycho but... the rest? Who would want to die while bankaing or using a holy sword???? :S
Shuhei: You still haven't reached the soul palice Ichigo, I can get you there but you have to do exactly as I- [Bang] Lille Barro: This is indeed a disturbing demension.
For better perspective: Picture Hisagis bankai as something similar to the Reaper Death Seal. You’re in another “dimension” fighting it out for eternity until you’re essentially “dead”.
I just thought of another ability, what if instead that shuhei's bankai drains every drop of reiatsu of him and his enemies, then they just bloody fight. The bankai heals them until one person DESTROYS the other so they can't be healed, and all the remaining reiatsu goes to the winner. Well, that WOULD fit bleach
Good video tekking, it's fun to see a new bleach series. One thing though how you described Shuhei's bankai isn't quite how it works. It doesn't pool the reiatsu of shuhei and whoever he's fighting together, they are both separate. How shuhei uses it against a stronger opponent is he activates and then does nothing and just lets the opponent attack him so their reiatsu drains faster. That's how he uses it in his last fight in CFYOW.
The track you're looking for is known as B13A from the Fade to Black Bleach film. It also happens to be my personal favorite track from the entire anime.
Shuhei has always been one of my favorites even when I started bleach and stopped watching for a while he stuck in my memory. I wish we would've gotten to see what was meant for him.
Me too it’s actually well done and all the blunts were cool I wish bleach brave souls included These characters and they have great fights like byakuya vs kariya or toshiro vs dalk
The choker and arm bands also resemble a simplified chain design, interlocking links, and this would synergize with the chains his released weapon has.
I found it interesting how this weapon, both shikai and bankai, could easily have been kenpachi's ability. a blade that shreads the opponent and a bankai that forces 2 combatants to fight to their fullest until only one remains.
Beach was my favorite of the original top 3. Hopefully the can fix the issue with the manga. Beach is back baby!! Getting to see the old mans Bankai animated is going to be epic. Hopefully the do this justice #4themanga
He's chained to his duty and is willing to do (reap) anything to complete his duty such as cut through rukia is why his weapon takes such a form. Theoretically.
@@xixieed Actually Kiyone and Sentaro were third-seats at the time, Rukia was an unranked officer then. In the Fullbring arc, she became the lieutenant of Squad 13.
Assuming he can deactivate his bankai whenever means that once both him and his enemies collective power is drained nearly completely they will be both pretty much at equal power making it a battle of skill over abilities and raw strength, basically one of those "stats equalized " vs battles. And if that's the case then it's a pretty strong ability.
Great in-depth character video for Hisagi Shuhei! Always thought Hisagi as a somewhat special character in Bleach (has dual-wield zan even though was technically revealed in CFYOW to be just one, has a unique shunpo sound in the anime, was able to ultimately defeat Tousen, etc.).
so a few months ago i noticed that i wasnt as excited for one piece as i used to, as result of me watching tekkings chapter reviews. As an anime only, i would know things hat i wouldnt have known for months. And so i made the descision to stop watching the chapter reviews. After that i noiced that his regular discussion videos still spoiled alot, and so i made the decision to stop watching him altogether. Now he makes a video that i can watch worry free, and i gotta say, glad to be back.
Hey, listen! ...Well, if I did trigger anyone's LoZ PTSD from Navi, the music theme that Tekking couldn't remember is called "Fade to Black". It's an OST from the main series and one of the Bleach movies. I posted this for anyone curious to the music Tekking was wondering about.
