This version of Penguin had parents who truly loved him, and they're both killed in front of him. This is actually more tragic than the version without parents loving him

What kills me is the he was actually trying to be a good person and they fuckd him over, and he let it slide until they went too far. I love how Penguin showed that everyone has a breaking point. Also him cooking her kids and ha ch ing her eat them was pure and utter sadistic pleasure and kinda funny.

I really enjoy that creepy, nasally, and sadistic tone he has. It fools you into thinking it's a bluff, because no one would take that tone seriously at first but... Sometimes it isn't the six foot ten swamp monster that gets you first.

That scene was a tad disturbing and thats quite high on a Gotham level. But I was so glad to see Penguin back!

Damn shame about Elijah!(Oswald's father). he was such a forgiving person even after Oswald told him about his past and what he had done. Not everybody is as forgiving as Elijah was,I liked him!!

The fact that Ozzy did try to be better, that he was happy and they took away not only his father, but his sanity. You cant blame him for sliding back into his old ways.

1:53 has to be the only dog death scene in movie history that is not upsetting, because the return of the penguin is just so distracting.

Okay this scene is amazing (Though I wish Penguin hadn't killed the dog) but it's also amazing on an acting level, Grace's transition from "I own this house" to "Holy fucking hell I'm trapped with a serial killer" is so flawless, as well as Penguin's transition back to his old self. Both Actors did stunning in this scene

You know what really is sad about this whole thing? Lets break it down. At the start of the series, Oswald's choices were his own. He served bad people for the hope of gaining favor and power among bad people. Once he had that power, he did bad things with it. After a time, he ended up in the care of Hugo Strange Hugo treated him and changed who he was. He was now a good man who only wanted to do good. He meets his father who shows him love. The first person to do so since his mother died. Then his father introduces him to these people. These people break him down with EVERY opportunity. He is still dedicated to being good. He chose to grin and bear it all. Then he discovered that she murdered his father and he snaps and does this. He made his choices in the beginning of the series and was a villain. He was then treated by Hugo and was now a good man. These people broke him. They took a good man and turned him into the monster that we all know.

This, right here, is the scene that made me a Gotham Penguin fan-girl. The acting is amazing and the revenge is so creative.

To be completely honest, I feel more sorry for the dog than I do for Grace and her kids.

"Definitely more tender, in my opinion!" I felt like that was supposed to be a callback to when Sasha attempted to seduce him lol.

When I watched this for the first time I couldn't help but laugh. Maybe it was out of shock, maybe I thought they had it coming, or maybe I'm messed up. Lol but that line and its delivery were perfect.

3.27 the way he delivered that line was badass “Don’t go...!”

kinda reminds me of the help and the whole "eat my sh***t" scene although comparing the two this is much more satisfying, though the least they could have done was show the kids faces when they saw the real penguin that woulda been satisfying

they knew, he was a psychopath... they killed his father... they kept him as a servant... his stepmother and stepsister and - brother are the smartest characters in the show.

He did what Cinderella failed to do years ago.

That laughter when the dog dies is a great touch. It's the welling emotions of his mourning and his anger, poured out in the form of his most immediate emotion: his joy that he gets to finally have his revenge on these terrible people who've mistreated him. Good acting, good directing, good scene.

This is the kind of darkness kids' cartoons can't show. (The adult ones come close though.) I love it all

I like the bait and switch here. You think Penguin will exact revenge on the family by serving them the same poisoned sherry they used to kill his father, but nope, he ends up butchering the kids and feeding them to their mother lol. Great return for a character who was always the best part of this show, Robin Lord Taylor is brilliant
