Yes, but he isn't super rich. So, even if he doesn't have financial issues, it's not easy to spend all of that money knowing that your talented son might not ever become successful playing chess
@@jibiteshsaha4392 have u seen some of his chess24 interviews? He's so talkative and comfortable with the camera now, and even cracking jokes here and there.
At 44:28 levy Asks about "being caught in someone's opening prep so that you need to find moves OTB" Cut to a few days later in tata steel rapid Arjun trapped Nihal in 40 move long prep and yesterday(03-12-2022, as per Indian time) levy posted about that 40 move disgusting engine line prep... 😅
Hey Levy, love your podcasts. Would it be possible to include a chessboard on the side whenever you discuss a chess position with a player? That would make the viewing experience even better.
Arjun is the Indian national champion. He never gets asked about that. He's won a lot of other big events by now, but somebody has to give importance to the national chess championship😅I myself followed the US championship more closely than the Indian championship🤦♂
It's simple. The prize pool is too low, the coverage is terrible, and the strength and importance of the tournament are below par. With the boom in Indian chess, it's high time to establish a closed Indian National Championship like the US championship. Vishy, Arjun, Gukesh, VD, Hari, Nihal, Pragg, SL, Sasi, Sethu, Raunak, Abhimanyu P. Now isn't that a strong line-up?
@@MannanGoel Arjun, Gukesh and Adhiban were competing among others. They're not top 10 in the world but they are pretty strong. And this is the national championship of one of the strongest chess nations. How can this not be important?
@@vishrutkrishna8469 Told you, right? It's an open Swiss event and the prize fund and coverage are terrible. For it to be precious, it needs to be closed. Neither of Arjun and Gukesh would have played this event if they were already 2700 by then.
Levi I'd really love to see more content from you that's non-chess related !! I'd totally wanna listen to you talking about current issues/drama/popular topics !! you have a good voice (:
Could you link any Erigaisi games you analyzed in teh description? On the C-squred podcast you said you analyzed his game and got no views. When I searched around the time you posted the video, I could nto find it b/c all the titles are clickbait/memes. I don't expect you to change the titles/thumbnails, but maybe add to the description of the game analysis who is playing. And, maybe, put it in these Gotham City videos were you interviewed players?
Bro Telugu states have the second biggest chess culture in India and a combined 9 GMs.virtually every school kid plays here and media covers them and they are mentioned in movies and appear in game shows as well and rising fast and 3 top 10ers in Harikrishna and two best women players in humpy and harika and now arjun
Bro look at my tiny pp bro, I'm from south bro, bro plz south best bro, bro no one looks at us bro plz bro look bro telguu best bro, telguu best state from telgu bro, bro plz bro

@@adityapacharne5688 look I am Aditya . My brain is a bird brain and I am projecting about tiny pp who got pissed because you didn't hear levy's question about chess culture in Telugu states . It is true chess is predominantly a south indian thing
Warangal in Telangana itself has 3 GM and 1 IM. It can beat a lot of countries in chess . It has the top 2 biggest chess culture along with Tamil Nadu . Virtually every school kid plays chess here lol and we had 3 top 10ers as well in Telugu states
@@HELLO_019 he said top not more . Ps im from Maharashtra. Instead of being jealous let's appreciate the each and every state for whatever they are doing good.
@@HELLO_019 andhra and Telangana come under telugu state chess culture here you stupid clown . Read my comment properly and maharastra and west bengal haven't produced a single top 10er or a world champion like humpy
@@HELLO_019 Telugu states are 2 states .you have a rad comprehension of a 2 year old and there is telugu chess culture and there are 9 GMs and much more top GMs from telugu states than maharastra and west bengal combined and look at GMs per capita ffs .
Can't understand the reservations of you westerners in giving due respect and consideration to Vishy. The man has single handedly done what many of your so called greats could not and yet, you hesitate so much to call him one of the GOATs. It's a shame!
Puh, «its not like this here you have to attend. you can if you know it all, you only have to take the test. Its not normal, but its there becouse not everything is normal. If its making it easier to work and go to school or like arjun focus on Chess is that bad? so is the american school shit or is it levi talking bs about how it works becouse he did everything the normal way.
