Batgirls traversal also allows to fly up, you just have to increase the speed by flying slightly towards the ground and then pull up. You can cover great distances without touching the ground or using grapple hook.

yeah like if you want a quick medkit just ambush takedown the big dudes, he`s the only character who can do that

Why shouldn’t it do damage? He’s still kicking enemies and his sticks are flying at speeds that would give a normal man a concussion so if anything it should do more damage than the max they probably gave it.

The only issue I see with this game is that's just a really good game. It's not transcendent or better than the Arkham games. It's just a good fun game. Maybe games have to be more than that.

Yup you can clearly see who his personal favorites are. Nightwing and Batgirl. And that is okay of course. But if you want to show something, don't impose your personal preferences. He also barely shows anything of Robin. Then you have to distribute them all fairly over the length of your video. That's what people want to see. Personal preference doesn't matter. Amen

bro and the smear campaign against this was real convincing. I was convinced without playing a demo or over a friends' house that this game was a flop and probably the most disappointing game to release. I just don't understand why so many people cosigned that general consensus. if your "Batman" fan you are doing yourself a disservice. I put batman in quotes because i mean batman in the most general sense. If you're only a fan of the Arkham games manage expectations because this aint that. If you're not really a batman fan but really like a d.c. character closely associated with him hero or villain but not a member of the bat family i could see how you might find it underwhelming. But it should be experienced by every "Batman" fan not fans of the animated series or Chris Nolan's dark knight trilogy a specific run of comics or graphic novels but all of it in general those are the fans that will appreciate this games story. The gameplay is okay but is better if you think of it like there is one best character or a specific successor but think of them like bat suits that you change based on circumstances your find yourself in specific to this game not past accolades or favorite character. That's why the lvl progression is universal so if you hit a wall all got to do is fast travel to base grab the suit (character) u needs to overcome said wall or obstacle. then your free to either swap back or keep it on until next obstacle presents itself. The game provides all the tools you need, and you decide how and when to use those tools. i.e. You wouldn't use a flashlight in broad daylight so don't use Red hood when u need to be stealthier. You can prolly power through or you can swap to robin and do it effortlessly. I'm done ranting.

Having played, I say it's worth it. The story is good and the combat is fun. The biggest issue you're going to run in is traversing the world without fast travel. That can be a bit of a downer when you are doing those premeditated missions. The premeditated missions can be a bit grindy too. Fast travel eases this up a bit though

I was on the fence too, but I found the Deluxe edition slightly under the price of the regular version. I’m honestly having a blast with the game so far and I’ve only used Batgirl.

Once you cast skulls appear over each target, a circle will start to fill for each. You have to left click or hit normal attack button to shoot. Isn't automatic

So I've been messing around with crit based builds with Red Hood cause his range weapons are better imo. For Melee I was able to get crit to 58% and crit dmg to 213%. I was occasionally doing 1.2k dmg. For the ranged weapon I had crit at 48% and crit dmg at 150% (I think). However, this was with legendary gear that has 3 mods slots fitted with crit/crit dmg mods, I think WB intentionally made range weapon crit mods have less crit dmg on them because it would be op to be able to rapid fire 200%+ crit dmg w/ Red Hood. It's definitely fun to 2 - 3 hit npcs with the crit dmg potential, but I do still prefer status build up because of crowd control. Like electricity will create an electric explosion when the status bar is filled which can cause enemies to get knocked down/staggered and they get a little bit of status build up. If you really want to have fun with status I suggest playing Robin since he has a skill tree that revolves around status build ups.

He does, but it's not really a secret ability (It's only a "secret" because you don't get to do the challenge to unlock it till later in the game). Not sure why he's baiting it in the video cause all the abilities that can be unlocked show up in the characters challenges tab. Red Hoods "secret ability" is a tackle/charge, its good when you're surrounded and don't want to get stuck in a gangbang. If you collide with an npc that has low enough hp you'll grab them and stick a concussion grenade to them then throw them.
