@@scarlightemperor3410 it’s Batman in the sense of having characters like Robin and batgirl. What people need to understand is that this isn’t an arkham game. It is completely different from what we are used to.
Yeah, I like it well enough. That said I think it would have been an even better game if they had stuck with the core combat and stealth system from the Arkham series, it just felt more fun in my opinion. Also, considering this is the same development studio that did Arkham Origins, I wish they had kept the investigation system from that as well, I loved the investigation scenes in that game where you pieced things together and then Batman narrated “here’s what happened”. So yeah, graphically and in terms of character dialog Gotham Knights is pretty solid. And the dynamic crime system in the city is neat. But when it comes to the basics of core combat and stealth they should have stuck with the system from the Arkham games and just incrementally adjusted or added to that rather than implement this new system that feels kind of clunkier by comparison.
This is a much better "Post Arkhamverse" harley then the suicide squad one. Aside from not digging into the margot robbie "Tactical Hot Topic" look she's ironically more likeable for how much she owns being a villain between her sympathetic moments towards the bat family and the news of batman's death. You get a much better sense that Harley's history and feelings towards batman were complex and subsequently so are her feelings towards the family, at the same time she's dangerous and isn't shy about proving it.
