Robin is pretty much Miles Morales in GN. Flexible and fun to use in sneak mode till switching to Batgirl or Nightwing for fun combat.

The teleport doesn't even make sense for his character. Not only that, but the way it's implemented slows the gameplay to a crawl. He's young, agile and has a small frame, maybe they could've given him some kind of techy shoes with high-speed capabilities, a strong leap, and a parkour wall-running maneuver. Or just given him another glider like Nightwing. Literally anything but the slow and tedious teleport.

I think it kind of makes sense. Assuming this is Tim Drake (and I'm 95% sure it is just going by canon), he's supposed to be the smartest and most inventive Robin, so the devs probably wanted to highlight that. I think it's just the execution that's a bit lacking.

The gameplay looks amazing and more complex than the Arkham games. I don’t want a game that is just mash button and you punch, I need to think about how I’m gonna make my next move while fighting.

When they stop rendering everything that is overlayed by a hud element the game would only need to render 30% of the screen in fight scenes. Everything is hidden by skill and healthbars.

Is the grappling really working as intended?? Looks so unnatural. The animations to the sense of momentum. The "fake* clouds and volumetric fog that disappears as you get close, terrible to very less rain effects, fake sense of speed when crossing bridges becomes apparent. Very disappointing. As soon as I saw colorful headed weirdos in the interviews i knew how this game will turn out

Removing arkham combat from batman games was a mistake, same for grapple system. I liked the colors, the costumes and the hud in general. The level design was ok, could be better. Characters and motivations, meh. I give 5 out of 10

Bland open world, ugly U.I that looks like it was originally designed for a live service game, bland city compared to the superior Arkham Knight Gotham, slow clunky combat that tries to immigrate RPG's rather than build upon the successful Arkham series combat system, a predictable story with a horrible ending and the game runs at 30fps despite being advertised as a next gen game. I'd say it's certainly not worth paying money for.
