In India they actually have this. The "Juggernauts"(Ratha in Hindi) are giant wheeled carriages which carry small temples. They travel from village to village so everyone gets a chance to pray there.

You are a sailor in the Imperial Navy; life is hard, but its better than working back on the planet you were born on, being a slave in the mines or turning corpses into food and fighting with the endless tides of homeless bodies for scraps. Your life is a daily routine of managing ship systems and occasional arguing with the machine spirits behind the backs of the tech priests who crawl around the ships like spiders; keeping the massive structure woven together. Servitors mindlessly go about their work; their company is creepy and disturbing, they sometimes spew some garbled codes or even some chants but beyond that they are here like you, except they didn't have a choice. Food is decent; its better than corpse paste. Its actually real decent food; and if you're lucky, every so often you stop over a cardinal world or agri-world and discover some new exotic goods. Perhaps a sister vessel stopped by and dropped off something new and exciting that doesn't seem normal. The ratling chefs are telling stories in the canteens and guardsmen and sailors talk as if they were a family. Every so often the commissar or officer or tech magos argues with a lesser crew mate and everyone minds their business as if it's just a normal every day occurrence. Some days a machine spirit goes haywire; it decided it was not going to listen to it's handlers. A few hours of fighting fires; cleaning up corpses and more arguing with the tech priests and the machine spirit is back under control; life resumes, and you avoid confrontations with the mechanicus; as lesser workers are not allowed to handle the blessed machines. Every so often you hear a choir of priests and monks walking around the ship; swinging censors and putting purity seals around to bless the work space. Church attendance is regular in parts of the ship; sometimes held in hangers or machine shops if the primary church is overfilled. Quiet humble moments of prayer with priests before they resume their blessed work. You're lucky if you survive a broadside with a traitor ship; or some daemons who breach the vessel during warp. But thats life... the ship has a maternity ward as just as often as crew is hired or rotated out; crew mates will have children who will spend the rest of their lives aboard the ship, learning the trade and being part of the crew. Life in the Imperial Navy is hard; but its better than being trapped in the hive cities.

That's actually a battleship. Although, it is also a cathedral. That's what happens when space travel means flying directly through the "warp", a demon-infested alternate dimension filled with everyone's worst nightmares. If you want to travel through space, you bring a church along ^^ You bring up a good point though, I love Warhammer 40k as a setting, but I think that there is a distinct lack of diversity in game genres. I'd love to play a story-focused survival horror game set in the 40k universe.

But this day, something wrong occured whilst in transit in the warp, you can feel it. Your crewmate, they disagree, they think you are crazy, but.. You can already hear the screams and the voices in your head. They talk to you. About something... great. Something abyssal. Something mysterious. A truth. You can't put your finger on it. So you start scribbling on the floor. You scribble more and more. One of your bunkmate noticed. He tells you discretly that he heard the same voices. Fast forward a few weeks. The emergency lighting is flaring every so often over the dark corridors. Corpses. Blood. Everywhere. When the uprising started, the Captain did not hesitate to have his security corps open fire on the rest of the crew to maintain order, but it could not save you from what you've unleashed. There is something more than mutineers aboard now, thanks to you. Dark figures preying on the terrors of those who were not yet turned insane. You realize, with crippling guilt, what you have done. But you cannot go back. You serve them. The primordial truth. You have little hope of survival. Your benefactors will turn on you, unless you can prove useful. The voices come back in force. You start your journey in the damp underbelly of the ship. You will survive, you say to yourself. But only darkness awaits.

Did RU-vid change recently? It's been 17 minutes and I've gotten 3 ad breaks, when I know I've listened to this before and there was only 1 five minutes in. I've loved to fall asleep to this track for a while, but the ads have ruined that!

Exactly, YT changed its policy for ads, thus effectivelly ruined the experience. This is to force you to purchase the app, and to force the channel owner to monetize the content (this is currently not monetized). Not only that, but it seems like the algorithm has changed to favor monetized content, my videos apparently don't jump up as suggested to people, as before

@@emperorconstantine1.361 I have no problem with Age of Sigmar, I really like this new universe, as well as Battle. It is a nice and refreshing view on the Warhammer setting with cool things, factions and characters alike. Seriously, we already are at the V3, it is pointless to complain about it now. And with the return of the Fantasy universe, by the Old World stuff Games Workshop is working on, you can say AoS is some sort of a side job indeed. Personally, I do not mind to take it as the sequel of Warhammer Fantasy, because it is the case so I just deal with it and that is fine by me

Cryo Chamber is a production house that assembles various dark ambient artists (and authored stuff like Atrium Carceri) and creates mixes from the released material. I'm currently releasing stuff with them under the name of Metatron Omega, and this channel is created so that I can have my own personal output for other projects of mine.
