@@imacreeper7705 We stopped the small private server last year because no one from my friends was playing on it. There is a backup of the map and maybe one day our interest in Minecraft will return (you know how it comes and goes) so we can start another server with the same world but at this point I don't have easy access to the cathedral :/

Hello Alessio, you are (nearly) corect. The tower is inspired by the Ulmer Münster and the rest of the Church is in a very similar style like notre dame de paris. But both are different and there are elements from other churches too. But you are right the two churches you named were the Main Inspiration.

@@ironmanveronika6407 By credits i mean that i am working on my world to make it one of the best survival worlds of minecrafts and i have been looking through different pictures and posts for a massive structure just like yours i won't copy exactly what you have made but some parts and then when i am done with my world i will be making a movie and I will attach your youtube channel link on my channel permanently :)

@@ironmanveronika6407 how is world edit cheating? It’s just a time saver instead of having to place everything block by block. It doesn’t make your build any better it just speeds up the process of building it.

@@curtisg8399 I think that what he means is that what you're seeing in the video was built in survival and that's why world edit wasn't used as that could be considered cheating

Thank u, im very proud of my World but it would be boring for the most people and VERY long. Maybe I Do it some Day. For the Stargate watch my other Videos I already made a stargatevideo

Thats obvious. The tower from the Ulmer Münster, the rest from notre dame de paris and one Detail on the flying buttresses is from Saint denis

But every Part is a unique cration and nothing is intended to be a copy I took only inspiration

you could easily dominate that search term if you make a good tutorial video for a cathedral

What sorgt of tutorial do u mean? If I Show the building of a cathedral in that size in Real time it would be a 10 hour Video even in creative

Gothic Cathedrals are beautiful but Not for a big audience even that Video doesnt interests many people and I think a tutorial would be even more boring for most people

@@ironmanveronika6407 yea, i see what you mean it's just in Minecraft there is a good tutorial for pretty much everything you can think of, so when a mediocre builder like me wants to build something rly cool to finish off their city they go on RU-vid and find a tutorial for it, either for ideas or to follow block to block. in my case it's a cathedral, but when you search Minecraft cathedral tutorial there is not a really good Minecraft cathedral there are crap ones and small ones but nothing like the one that you built and others in time lapses. so there is a lack of tutorials for an area of Minecraft which I thought would be full of them, a 10 hour long video would be way to much to ask but someone has to make a tutorial so that the hole in Minecraft tutorials is covered up and when someone likes me wants to come along and make a cathedral they can...

I wont make a tutorial of that church. I have a tutorial of an other church, which is more detailed, more realistic and easier. If u want to build this church u will have to build it with pictures. On my discord Server are instructions which can help

@@ironmanveronika6407 Foremost I think the building is exceptional before anything so now that thats said I don't think it looks Gothic because its missing intricate details in the railings and outer structure that makes it look complex. Gothic architecture rarely ever has a smooth wall and there's a lot of smoothness to your building. I think it has to do with the scale of the building since you need a lot of space to get small details in a building.

@@ironmanveronika6407 I think the scale is the main barrier but it doesn't have to be the answer. Building on the outer layer you have now to give it some complexity is a pretty good solution as well
