@wendygunderson That's great! I wish you lots of luck with that! The digital kit I'm using is amazing but it needs more generic pages to fill a good-sized journal. I am loving the Gothic angle!
This is turning out wonderful, but that’s no surprise! I have never done a Poe journal, yours is great! You have added so great things. Thanks for sharing!🇨🇦
Hi Rhoda💕 Looking good, another fun and creative make. I just got another circle die set, it pretty much has every size circle you would need. Thanks for sharing your process, enjoyed watching. Big hugs! 🤗
I say yes on the spooky people ! This is a great looking page. I don’t remember my daddy ever having that pretty car but I do remember when uncle Junior had it. I thought it was closer to the sixty’s. He used to take us girls and granma for rides in it. I loved it.
@@phyllisseal317 He had a Chrysler at some point after that. Do you think that's the one you remember? I have another ephemera pack coming, so when it does, I'll get those people out and debate on if they'll suit the journals! Thank you!
@@rhodaburks4970 no I distinctly remember his ford star liner. Can’t remember what he had after that. The convertible top was white. He got a truck at some point for his tools. I do remember the Volkswagen bug your mom and I ran errands in
@phyllisseal317 There is a picture of him and little Howie with a truck and a buck dad shot. I think Howie was 7 so maybe that's the truck you remember.
Damask is also Victorian. That is the exact pattern and color I believe in BBC’s Sherlock for the wallpaper. Lol. But yes, some gothic people love it! If you want to goth it up more, you could add black lace or black dyed cheesecloth. ❤❤❤❤ Bats are always good and owls can work. Black cats, black flowers, crows and ravens for sure. You’re on the right track for sure! Love you!❤❤❤❤
@papercraftingwithmisstommi I definitely have black lace and will get a batch of cheesecloth dyed soon. I'm crazy about damask. I'm trying to stay within his time period too
@lynnettemcelmurray4597 Wow! Maybe you have WV roots? Not many of us Rhoda's around. And I found who everyone of my Dads siblings was named for, but Howard. He was a mystery!
You could use a little distress ink on your white shiny Velcro dots to make them pop out less. Watching these pages come together is fun, let’s see what you come up with next
That’s funny…was going to say abt a 56 Ford… My parents had a1960 Ford Sunliner!!! My first driver car!!! Was heart broken when they sold it!!! And it was all red w/ a white top… A second top was purchased.. that one was black…Was a great car!!! Pilled many teenagers in there and off Wed go!!! So much fun!!!…Thanks for the memories!!!
@lynnettemcelmurray4597 Oh wow! I'm so glad I was able to give back some memories! I can't remember if I said Dads was Fiesta Red and had a white top. So that must have been a popular color combo!
The circle die set I just purchased is by Spellbinders # S-41280 Everlasting Circles. One of the circles fits perfectly behind the picture wheel die that's why I got it. 😍
