Grits are made from the inside part of corn kernels. Really good stuff! I don’t care for oatmeal, and I live in the Deep South of the US, so grits are kind of a staple for breakfast. They don’t have flavor so they can be seasoned to taste like anything. Some people like to put sugar and honey on theirs. I love salt, pepper, and a little bit of melted butter (soooo good, especially on a cold day).

PS if you ever feel like trying this again, I would love to recommend different American snacks... although thinking about it, I don’t know what candy I could recommend or send that Sugar Coated BonBons didn’t that isn’t already available worldwide... but savory? I have a few ideas.

I'm American and wouldn't eat any of that candy/cereal lol. Ick! The starburst powder is good with a full 8/16 Oz of water, or just use half of the tube. 🙃

As an American, I agree that a great deal of our snacks and candy are gross. One thing companies do is take a candy that's popular and make 10 varieties of it. M&Ms, Skittles, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. They all have a bunch of flavors. That doesn't even include the holiday ones. I hate sour candy, anything too sweet, or things that burn your mouth. When I saw Sour Patch Kids cereal at the store, my thought was the same. Gross, why?

I am from Serbia the holy place of good cuisine and I feel like there is always food and different tastes and spices and combinations you can try and with each cloture. Always love to see this tasting vids feel like you get to see what each person likes compared to yours or to your cloture I feel like trying new food is one of the best things to do when traveling.

yeah i agree in America we have alot og strange foods ive seen lays chips that were geilled hot dog flavored and sunflower seeds that are bacon flavored and even sea food flavored sunflower seeds its weird we have mountain dew thats chilly pepper flavored and im like who in the hell wants a hot soda? also Conor's facial expressions when eating this stuff is hilarious love yall so much 🤣🖤

@@RandomGothCoupleUnfortunately, tacos and most Mexican food in the US is better at mom and pop restaurants as opposed to chains. I was surprised how there wasn’t at least Spanish food in Scotland when I lived there. I am surprised Taco Bell hasn’t penetrated Ireland. We have better chocolate in the US than Hershey’s. But they are all smaller companies. Dark chocolate is all over the place too.

I promise you, not as many Americans like Hershey's as it seems xD; They just have a literal monopoly on chocolate here. We used to get Cadbury bars here, but then Hershey's bought the rights to them in America, and now they'll only allow places to sell the Hershey's variety. It's ridiculous.

The regular Hershey's bar original used soured milk to increase the shelf life and now there is conflicting information if they put butyric acid into their chocolate. I only like their dark chocolate and I don't like their milk chocolate.

@@RandomGothCouple It was the soured milk was original used by the founder of Hershey's, but they supposedly charged it. It is the reason the chocolate has a slight vomit after taste (The description from a Canadian Friend).

@@RandomGothCouple I think there are some foods you just have to grow up eating to like. I have a friend that moved to the U.S. from Cambodia when she was a teenager. Her mom will visit and then bring home chocolate covered crickets. Nope. I wouldn't try it, even if I wasn't a vegetarian.

I remember when we made sherbet in school science class and some kids purposefully put too much citric acid in so foam was coming out of their mouths!
