There isn’t really a story behind this song, I just found it while looking for a song that I thought would be fun to choreographed to. But as the weeks kept going I found that the lyrics or just the overall vibes of the song was something that really comforted me. Our theme for the year is empty, emptying, being empty, u get what I mean and i'm sure you read it on the program. At first, I didn’t really think this song fit the theme, but as I continued to reflect on what empty meant to me, I realized that I had been continuously supplementing myself with temporary happiness, so I've really been focusing on trying to surrender my own expectations and desires to the Lord. However, being empty doesn’t necessarily mean I will stay empty. It means that I now have room for other things. And I hope that I can be filled to the brim with the love that Christ has for me. This song has been giving me a lot of hope for the future, and I hope that the lyrics resonate with you guys in whatever way Jesus intends it to. On that note, please enjoy~ all glory to Christ my savior. PTL!
