love what Miller did actually. he realized the poor kid was gunna get pummeled and jumped in. goalies don't normally get involved, but Miller was a really good teammate in this situation
Miller is a friggin boss! I remember when he was signed here people said he was a bad teammate. That couldn't have been further from the truth as seen here.
That shot at 1:10 is amazing, Brilliant cinematography! lol, but yeah, From the ref cam when Miller drops his gloves to save Troy is so epic, Great game Canucks, Enjoyed Leafs winning and even though it got ugly, that's old time hockey!
considering his teamates can score goals and people like Edler are lackluster when being paid "big bucks", he has a right to be mad because hes being lite up with shots.
This was a great game to watch, both teams needed a win badly and emotions were high. The icing on the cake was Marner and Mathews singing living on a prayer while the refs were sorting out the penalties.
im a canucks fan, but i think i speak for both fan bases when i say circle the rematch on your calendar. This was some entertaining old time hockey. DEC 3rd CIRCLE IT.
There's enough of focus on the game. Our children don't need to live in a bubble and safe spaces on the ice. You risk cheap shot hockey players growing up if you don't have accountability out there. A fight a game sets a respect precedent.
Like that picture from the vancuver stanley cup riots in 2011. A couple kissed there too. The where impressed by that. and because they see each other only when they play each other they used the comotion to kiss each other. So sweet.
Adam Moreira yeah cuz Stecher was steam rolled to the ice and getting punched in the head while down for no reason and the guy weighs like 130lbs..Miller stood up for his dman like any of the players would've

Amazing game, but the crowd at the ACC looks like a corporate asshole convention, bunch of suits eating sushi and drinking wine. Not so many real Leaf fans
As an American, I'm pretty stoked that Canadian hockey is on the rise from an NHL standpoint. Edmonton is getting good, Toronto is improving, and good ole fashioned line brawls and fights aren't going away
All of you saying "martin went after a rookie" first of all, dorsett did it first going after komarov instead of martin. Secondly, i doubt martin knows who troy stecher is and that hes a 4 game nhl rookie.
lmao, what a stupid comment. I didn't get to watch the game, but going after Komarov, a known pest (I like Komarov, btw) vs. jumping a rookie. Not the same.
Yeah we are really scared of a team that's lost 8 in a row. Also do you really think the leafs are soft if one of the canucks do anything to Matthews or marner. Matt Martin will come by and you'd be signing for your funeral.
"set the league back 30 years..." uh no, the enforcers and goons fought back then, crap like this happens when you fire them all... plus , 30 years ago, they were actually allowed to fight, these guys were trying, but I'm sure the league will suspend them all over some stupid crap
mcdangles89 lol look at the arrogant oiler fan. Next time you call 2 other teams an embarrassment just remember, your team won the lottery 4 times in 6 years.
I could never understand why enforcers are being weeded out in hockey. They are the most honorable players because they defend and protect their teammates by putting their own health and lives at risk. Is there not anything more honorable than that in hockey?
That shot at 1:10 is amazing, Brilliant cinematography! lol, but yeah, From the ref cam when Miller drops his gloves to save Troy is so epic, Great game Canucks, Enjoyed Leafs winning and even though it got ugly, that's old time hockey!
@@schouvler25 ya... Agreed.... Matt knows he's a 5'10" guy and wouldn't have really done much to him.... Matt from what I have seen gets involved with guys in his own type of "skill " catagoy.....🤕🤐 Troy just wanted to get his team worked up some....since they had been losing....... Vancouver has never been a really rough and tough team....so everyone has to chip in....even the smaller ones....
