Do you prepare your mirrored glass with something before you use it in you mosaics? To keep moisture from getting between the mirror backing and the glass? They are beautiful, I love the turquoise one.
Hi there, I usually use a neutral curing glue, for interior Weldbond Or multi prep glue, outside I use a neutral curing silicone. Just make sure you check the back of glue labels for this as there are so many glues on the market for Mosaics work. hope this is some help :)
Is there another video where you show how to make the pink and greenish heart mosaic? Do I just kind of follow the same thing you did with the sunflower heart, but just move the jewel to the middle?
Yes that's correct! 💯 Just glue the jewel in the middle and leave about a 6mm diameter around it so this can be filled after grouting has been done . 💕
Hi there, First of all, I love your work. These hearts are gorgeous! Can you tell me what type of a marker you use on the glass? I’m assuming you use alcohol or something to wipe it away at the end of the project? Thank you!
Hello and thank you. 💕I just use a marker brand is Sharpie and yes correct U just clean off aterwards with a bit of white vinegar and water, alcohol also would work. 🙌
Hi there. 😉 I left grout on for approx 10 mins. I'm usually a tidy grouter, so I take off as much excess before letting it sit for 10mins... There is another video on grouting on our channel which is also helpful I'll pop a link in for you . 💕
