He was made to take out the "Ham" out of the packaging name by the equivalent of the FDA back in 1909 if I recall correctly. Long story short, it's ground up pork shoulder with sugar, spices, salt, lactic acid and sodium nitrate.
The word Ham does not exist on modern packages. why? there is no ham to be found, and the brand is "Taylor" NOT "Taylor ham" i knew this man never represented us Jersey people
All Taylor ham is pork roll not all pork roll is Taylor ham. Taylor ham is a brand. People don't call tissues puffs or Kleenex. Or a refrigerator a Frigidaire. These are brands.
Taylor ham is a name Trenton pork roll is what you get in the deli anybody that's from New Jersey knows that but then again you're not getting a Taylor ham egg and cheese outside New Jersey
I grew up in Jersey, and I lived in the Atlanta metro area for 18 years, then Northwest Florida for a decade. Guess where I am again? That's right, Jersey. GEORGIA AND FLORIDA EFFING BLOW!
