I've got to work on Sat. Likely my area will be too flooded to drive out. Even if I park the car at the highest point at the end of my road, I have to walk the flooded road to get to it. It's a tight call when to evacuate.

I didn’t evacuate for Michael and it’s my biggest regret. However, watching the storm roll in and destroyed my town- I noticed how different it was from other hurricanes. It was all coming from high in the atmosphere and was truly weird.

Yawn (1) FL has been hit with Hurricanes Michael - Andrew - Ivan and plenty of others that stack up to what NO got from Katrina - not to mention FL got hit w/ plenty of fringte damage from Katrina. The same governor that ran out of resources for victims of hurricane Ian. DeSantis is bought and paid for by the Insurance Industry. He voted against Hurricane help. It voted against Funding to fix some of the Flooding areas. If there is damage, the insurance companies will get away with paying out pennies on the dollar of the rebuilt costs.
