1st the anti-groomer bill now this. What a great leader and advocate for real women's rights. My daughter was on the highschool swim team and now competes and jiu jitsu. She should never have to go up against a man.
We need to pass a law in Florida that the NCAA can not cancel a scholarship of a young lady who refuses to get in the pool against a man. This is the main reason most do.

They should simply revoke state aid to any university that is a member of the NCAA or that competes against schools that allow biological men on the women's teams.
Keep the rules for sport simple XX chromosomes in that group of competitors XY chromosomes in another group of competitors No room for unfair advantage and everyone gets to compete on a genetically level playing field

I am not very religious and haven't been to church since I was a kid. But the world has gone so far crazy the other way that I am now attending church when I can. It brings me back to center. It reminds me how hard the progressive community is trying to destroy everything decent and good.

Current NCAA officials need to resign and hire replacements who understand the need for the men and women to have their seperate teams, or form the Trans teams of men and women playing as the opposite sex.
It's really that simple, we should have a few categories. Men, Women, trans women, trans men. Maybe not for college, but outside of college, I then think there should be a PED group.

Only idiots can't see what the truth is. Men's bodies are designed to be stronger and protectors to women because they are the breeders that keep us existing. Just like many other species out there. Our bodies are not the same nor should they be treated the same. Non of that has to do with women's equal rights. It's just how our bodies are. Women can do anything guys can do. Unfortunately certain things men are naturally gonna be better at and vice versa. If your born a man and want to be a girl. Good for u. You should still be in men's sports. As simple as that. Some sports can have multi genders. But as soon as muscle comes into play in most categories it is unfair to women. I feel bad for the people that worked so hard to get snubbed by bs like that

@@bills.1390 Yeah, when I first saw photos of Mia Thomas in a swimming suit and swim cap I thought I was looking at before pictures of when Mia competed as a man. Nope. I mean obviously Mia has only taken the hormones and grown their hair out but has had no surgical alterations to suggest that they are a trans woman. Mia Thomas is a fully intact male. Taking hormones alone doesn't justify someone competing on a woman's swim team if they were born male. You can't surgically alter someone's skeletal/muscular structure and lung capacity once they get to Mia's age.

They are ignorant and we sadly made them that way by removing vital subjects from school curriculums like Civics and American History. When speakers are chased from the podiums in our finest universities and lawlessness is defended by government officials we are in real danger of losing more than our rights. A republican government ceases to be viable when it's citizens turn their backs on the laws and traditions that protect those rights out of ignorance.

I’m not afraid to speak out about this WOKE crap, I am quite outspoken about it. Of course I’m a retired white lady in the south, but until about three years ago I still voted D. But I’m also a mother and aunt who will always refuse to say a trans woman is a woman. How ridiculous! IMO, this Swimmer isn’t trans at all, he’s a faker taking advantage of this idiocy. Years from not he’ll stop taking his little pills, cut his hair and disappear.

Janet price, Back in the late 1970's early 1980's I use to live in Hawthorne, Florida. Well Sid Martin was in the Florida house of reps for 16 years. In Hawthorne he also had a small building that he sold insurance out of it. Oddly enough it was rarely open. But every time there was a election Sid would show up and open the office. On election day he would drive around and pick up blacks, buy them dinner and drive them to the polls to vote. I cannot remember if he bought them lunch/dinner before or after voting. There was also a rumor that he gave free insurance to some if they voted for him.

They will tell you that you are qualified to vote and card will come in the mail. You then get a letter from them telling you that you cannot vote. When you call up to find out why, they tell you that you are in prison. After a quick 30 second search they tell you that you are not in prison. So you tell them you will be down to register again. They then tell you that you cannot because the deadline to register to vote passed 2 days ago. What they do is sit on the applications then send out denial letters timed to arrive 2,3,4 days after the deadline to register has passed. They did that to me when Bush 2 was running for reelection as well as guys from my VFW post. All marked " Republican" on the forms.I heard from a few people in other states that had the same thing happen to them.
I'm glad Desantis is tackling the real issues that effect working class Floridians. Most politicians try to distract you with BS, whenever they don't want to address economic issues, like affordable housing for essential workers, but not Desantis. He knows whats important.
I'm not a supporter of the Republican party. But, this makes me proud to be a resident of Florida. Thank you Governor DeSantis. Unfortunately, the trans community is taking advantage of a massive grey area in woman's sports which will leave natural born woman without a place to compete in sports so the few trans woman with physical advantages of a man can feel included.

I chose Florida as my home, worked hard from day one & became a proud American citizen! I never imagined that decision would become so consequential! Women should stop competing in NCAA organized competitions for a while and see what happens. They can always register a new sports body and I am sure they will have a lot support and sponsors . They should also boycott all swimwear designers who advocate for trans men in women's sports .
