Why isn’t there is no law preventing employers from making you work shifts during a natural disaster? I was just informed that many non essential companies are still requiring employees to come to work in the Orlando area. This is something the governor should fix.

Well we tried everything possible to get out but there's absolutely nothing we can do at this time,all shelters max capacity,hotels,motels,etc. Full! We're not in an evacuation zone in Pasco county & our house isn't in a flood zone & made of solid concrete so I think we'll be okay! It's me,mom,& corgi we've got enough food,water,for weeks & backup power banks,NOAA radio, etc.
Definitely have tried along with everyone on our entire street & there's NOWHERE to go,we've talked to Sherrif department etc. & they recommend us to stay in place as the only other option is they may open up an abandoned Kmart which it's roof is gonna come clean off & it's not near as safe as our home they said

This is not the first hurricane Florida has had nor will be the last. Through the years I have seen many governors do quite a good job in these situations. Its not the governments job to spoon feed, pamper, and pay for everything under the sun and tuck you in bed at night. Grow up people, you want to live here, accept the risks. Why is this political? People need to take heed, make preparations, evacuate if needed. Florida has already been impacted by three other hurricanes in 18 months. Some people are devastated already and just can't handle any more. People loose their lives during these storms. Make this not about your political views but instead think of the people that are being devastated and going to be devastated. After living in Florida for 33 years I can attest these storms are terrifying and greatly impact people financially. Please don’t say there is plenty of gas.. As usual panic buying has the entire state loosing their minds. This includes many of the business that sell supplies. There are very long lines at every gas station everyday all day. Many stations are out of gas or only have premium left. Clam down people!

City of Tampa has left the debris piles on every street almost 2 weeks no pick up last year. They let those pile sit for 35 solid days. My family is right now taking the projectiles of debris to the dump.

I wish there was a way of telling us what is going to happen in Camp a while not far from Highway 50 I'm on 19 right now what's going to happen here in the mobile trailers that we live in have no gas have no way of traveling north because it sounds like 19 further north all the way up to home assassin Crystal Rivers I would have took in 19 all the way straight up to the top of the Florida but now cannot go because something is down on 194th and North 75 is not where I need to go I need to stay on 19 and head all the way up but obviously that's not going to happen no motels no gas live alone try to go to get a motel but all packed up well I guess that's the way the ball rolls so I'm praying to God that everybody is going to be safe and including myself bless Florida
