I like the 3 Lite because of white light that makes everything more immersive. You’re not getting a light purple color in scenes that feature a white background. I think people are sleeping on the 3 Lite. Branding “Lite” makes it seems like a step down in quality, but I feel this is the complete opposite in this case.

How do you turn the lights on? Does it happen automatically when you turn on the tv? Or do you have to keep opening the app on your phone and switching them on and off every night?

You turn them on and off with the Govee app. You can set the lights to turn on with the TV using Alexa, Google Home, etc tho
