So after more than 25.000 Views on my video where I give you the best settings for your Govee TV Backlight T2 and so many questions were made I decided to answer these questions and show more in detail how I set up my camera on the bottom of the distance there it is and all the reasons behind of installing you Govee T2.
Questions answered about the Govee T2:

I have a new sony 85" but don't know if I should get the T2 that is suppose to work with an 85" tv. Ppl say that they have dark gaps in the corners. Should I get the T2 that works with a 95" tv?

Do you need leave the foam on the tv or can you revmove it? And can you reuse it? Cuz im also going to put my tv on the wall

Yes you remove the foam after doing the calibration and yes you can reuse them just put the bit of paper recovering the glue for using next time

Just so ya know, you can set it up to turn on and off with Alexa. Mine is attached to a 77-inch LG OLED, and while it has Alexa on it, I use a separate device. But you can set up a command for it all to turn in at once (example: "Alexa turn on the tv and tv lights), or automatically in the app. Hope that helps!

Obviously you can do that with Alexa or google. I’m saying that is to turn off automatically if you turn off the tv so when the tv turn off the Govee will automatically know that needs to turn off that’s what I was saying but using a smart home platform will give that options and more

What setting are you using to get the colors to mimic the screen. In the liquid on the screen example you have the green liquid and green light on one side etc. Mine seems to just throw colors all around??

I believe you can disconnect without a problem but if it lose the configuration is not that it takes a lot of time to set it up

I dont understand why in movie mode the colours are not that bright. If i go with any other mode then the led's flash so bright. I have made the brightness and relative brightness to 100% still its too dull. No idea why its happening

Do you sacrifice accuracy to brightness because is impossible to have a good result with brightness at 100%

I have swapped the govee T2 from my TV but I will never use a pre calibrated settings always a custom calibration because is always better vivid for sure is more saturated and been more noticble and the smooth one trying to blend more with the screen but I doubt that is a better setting than a custom

What's worked best for me is to have add a basic LED strip as well as the T2 - leave the basic strip on as a white/neutral backlight at a comfortable level. The T2 is set bright and saturated enough to just show over the top of that backlight. This means I don't get the jarring annoyance and eye-strain of going from zero back-lighting to full blown just because of a brief scene change but more importantly, the overall effect of the T2 becomes vastly more subtle - it's blending rather than just lighting up the wall in various colours. (be better if Govee added an option to the software to set a min/max lighting level to get the same effect - but for now, a cheap strip-light does the job) Also - I found that the camera (especially on the left of my screen) misreads the screen - it seems to be collecting information from a good inch or two in from the position you've set when calibrating. I used a "test screen" found on youtube that shows vertical, coloured stripes and spotted that the wrong colour was showing to the left and right of the screen, even when the picture was frozen (you need stripes to see it, for obvious reasons). Setting the calibration points slightly wide of the screen works for me. I've no idea if this only applies to my T2 - test your own and adjust accordingly.

Yes you have different sizes for the Govee t2 like mine works on tvs of 55 and 65 inches

I have LG C1 OLED. Its ultra thin. I am not sure how to setup camera. I also cant adjust below led. I dont have space for it
