Our very own Julie is back at it again, calling scammers. This time she won a $9,000 government grant! You can report scams to our BBB Scam Tracker here: bbb.org/scamtracker
The grant firm is chocked with individual promotions, personal gains and loiters, regardless some guarantors are still kind enough to offer good assistance.Wilson happens to be one of them and am lucky enough to be one of her so many benefactors
I won’t be surprised if you are all talking about the same Wilson who assisted me through the process of getting my grant application,Her conduct is very professional and her techniques are very transparent as well
Mo Its a good thing you got a grant through an attorney. Grants should be a very easy procedure,it is better to bank on the service offered by recommended attorneys so as to process your application in a more safer and faster procedure
@@rogerzolsen5531 Do i need some sort of credentials to qualify for funding?? i do need financial assistance for my beautification project. Not looking for much,i’ll be fine if i can get capital to finance my project,Any help?
@@bradallison1911 absolutely not,I’m neither a financial expert nor a tech or savvy person as i can only help with what happens to work for me. Thanks to Wilson for bringing to my understanding how simple the process of getting a grant is,she is a licensed attorney you should contact her if you need financial support
Check out the RU-vid channel for Jim Browning. He's a scam baiter/hacker & has a ton of information on all of the different scams going on. He's connected to a bunch of other scam baiter YT channels as well.
You’re a hero! Seriously! So many people are pulling these scams and so many are unaware. You are wasting the scammers time and educating the masses on what to look for. You should have a weekly piece in the paper and a Facebook page so the you can get the info to all. Thank you!
Thanks so much for watching! That's a great idea to have a weekly spot in our local newspaper, we'll look into it! We post all of these videos to our Facebook page as well. If you want to follow us, here's the link: facebook.com/WisconsinBBB/
I get these phone calls all the time at Tax time They said my grant $9,200.00 then they ask me what I was going to do with the money, I am going buy lot's of Drugs, Lottery Tickets and Hookers. They said they will not send me the money now. and they hung up
NEPTUNE SILVER---I love when they told The Hoax Hotel he cannot spend grant money on anything illegal. He told them his neighbor is a hooker and he will spend of it on her. They said that was fine.
Hi Julie...how could you question his ethnicity??? That was a genuine Louisiana accent with just a delicious smidgen of the Orient thrown in to convince you that he was who he said he was!!!! Lol ...more please...Bon Chance as we say in the UK
I was scammed today by Gary Unwin. He said I had a grant from the ARRA for $9000,00. His phone number was 347-921-2710 ext. 1007. He said the money gram at Walmart, I would have to activate 2 cards would cost me $200.00 but they would put $4600.00 on each card. I wanted to report this. I am in Oklahoma.
Hi Julie, I am from Canada and we get these types of calls as well. I always ask how the weather is and say I hear you are having a major snow storm in which they agree too. Most times they want payment through a credit card that I never give of course. I do string them along to get as much information as I can out of them, they are to smart to give up anything as you are aware of. I wish there was a way to shut them down, we do block their calls afterwards but only to find out they call from another number. Love what you do and keep up the great work. Your friends from Canada.
Hi Craig! Thank you for watching and for the support. We wish there was a way to shut them down too, but all we can do is try to block the number, report the number, and try to warn friends and family against these scams.
Hi there, i am from the Netherlands, Europe ( excuses for my bad English ) Here we have these calls too. So, it s worldwide. I red somewere, that these scammers take worldwide for miljons of dollars, from 1000ths of people. I ask myself, why the real Microsoft, Apple or Google doesnt do anything about these scammers. And wtb the gouverments are the police. etc.? There must be a way to stop these scammers. Before there will be more and more victums. Julie.... are @bbb lol, how do you think about that? Why these scammers wont be arrested? And doesnt this, have to change?
Let it be said Julie is just as (naturally) funny than a lot of the scam baiters out there. I'm always laughing at her reactions and follow up replies to thee scammer lol🎀
Omg got this phone calls yesterday they said that I am selected a grant money for $15,000, wow that’s a big money, but I realized it is scam trying to get me.
I got a call just yesterday on President Day and she said I was chosen for a 46,300.00 grant because I have not been arrested or filed bankruptcy in the last 5 years. All I had to do was give her my banking information so they could deposit my money. When I asked her why there office was open on a federal holiday she swore at me and hung up. So much for my 46,300.00 LOL
Actually, in the DC area it's not uncommon to hear Indian accents. Immigration is really common to DC. But no way in hell that second guy came from Louisiana.
He speaks better English than we speak Hindi though I only know about 5 words and they all end “choud” Terri maka choud Benchoud Madachoud Not sure what they mean though
While she’s listening to the scammer I like to pretend I’m her boyfriend trying to explain where I’ve been for the last two weeks and she’s not buying it at all, but I keep trying as her skepticism grows. Her expressions match perfectly to the last 15 min of our relationship before she throws me out of her kitchen and out of her life forever! I don’t know why, but this is hilarious to me. Thanks Covid for what you have reduced me to.
I am enjoying these videos! Please make more! I hope more people are find your videos useful. I’m sure there are plenty of folks out there that fall for these scams. Thanks so much for these comical yet informative clips!
That little silver Christmas tree behind you reminds of a large one my neighbor had in their house. They had the color filter light that spun around to make it look as if they tree was changing colors.
Anne Arteaga Oooh, I got one of those last week. Gave the guy a made up name, a made up street number for a street name around the corner and a zip code for where I work. The card number was the correct FIRST four numbers with the rest ALL made up and written down so I could repeat it. I had him going for half an hour! 😎👹😆 If you want to play with scammers, write your fiction down so you can keep giving the same story to keep THEIR line tied up as long as possible. I look at it as one less person they can scam as long as they are talking to me.
Thank you for bringing these mature, informational videos to the public. There are people out there who need to see this and realize they are being scammed. I appreciate that you can bring this to light for people without having to resort to immature cussing and name calling that I see on many of these videos. I understand many of those scam baiters do it for entertainment but this is important that people are made aware so they dont fall victim.
One of these grant scammers hacked into my mom's facebook account, they then started collecting money claiming that her youngest grandson (who is not even a year old yet) is sick with cancer. They're vicious, evil, bastards.
But sir/ma'am wasn't that you I spoke to yesterday regarding my TAXES. He sounded like you and had the same badge number. So why don't you get with him and pay my TAXES from these funds.
Who pays for a grant? Why would you not question: how did I win a grant I never applied for? I cant believe people seriously fall for this foolishness.
There are couple red flags first of all he has strong Indian accents secondly you can not win something if never enter to win. Third he is trying sent her to store to get steam card. Last he had English name with strong Indian accent.
Thank you for this, and for all you do to help consumers! I work with the elderly, who are frequent targets of these types of scams. I wish there was a way to stop these calls!
I had a friend that happen to at the grocery store she had to put 300 hundred dollrs on a green dot card and the man told her he was in new York and he had a person he work with which was a lady and told her to bring the card out to the car and she would get her gift I told her no way in gods green earth is she going to do that they would have kill her and left her there so she listen to me and did not take care
I love ❤️ office. It looks so pretty, and you look 👀 so professional in that office with your nice professional clothing and I love how nice your hair looks like
The scammers go to class to try to know enough about America. I ran into someone who said they worked in the same city my company was in but they knew nothing about it. They finally admitted they were in India.
there was one credit card scam that was calling my cell and house phone. saying that there was a bigger one time fee of a increase of credit limit I was like oh ok what company are you with master card??? what master card company are you with never got a name. of that company I know capitol one has two types that a person can get a visa and master card back when I got a capitol one card that was like 05 06 era. but when I kept on asking what company there from they kept saying master card that is a very broad statement. but I ended up saying some statements on why are you calling from india with a amarican number and a few other questions I was more blunt on how you were. saying why are you saying your from texas but has a deep india accent
Hi, I just got a call scam from yesterday and I was wondering what the next move I should do next when I already given them my real name, real address to them but not my back account number and I hung up after they want me to buy a Google play card which I didn't buy?
Hi there, since you didn't give out your account number or send any money to them the best we can advise is to just watch your mail for any scam letters. They might try a different tactic since the phone scam didn't work. If anything looks suspicious or if something is too good to be true, it probably is. Best of luck and feel free to reach out with any follow up questions!
It's the same old script and the same Indian accents. However beware the African and Jamaican scammers, too. Basically beware of anyone offering anything with any accent though. No one gives you anything ever. It's as simple as that.
Someone who has heard of the city of Milwaukee. Picking up on lack of knowledge and lack of american dialect is not conclusive but a probable indicator of a scam. I never talked to anyone at VA or Social security in 20 years with accents and lack of US knowledge as these scammers. I guess all new immigrants work for the IRS lol. Wait, I'm "originally from Louisiana" lol!
Julie in DA HOUSE!!!! Love how you do your thing with these scammers. I’m just your neighbor from across Lake Michigan, we get these scammers all the time!
I think I have watched all your videos now. I know of all these scams but it is fun and entertaining to watch how you handle them without losing it or laughing. Thanks for spreading the word and wasting their time so they are too tied up to scam someone. I play a game where I try to "hook" them on the phone for at least 10 minutes. Thanks again.
HAHAHA I love the 020 numbers as we get them in the UK this number comes up as from London (suspected scam). God I want to call it to see if what they are now… As it is still active.
It is good that thy r caught, thy need to learn a lesson but people calling or abusing someone just bcoz thy hv accent and r from INDIA is totally not right....i work in cal centre(collector) n I hv to go thru mental n verbal abuse.person hu upload this video pliz even share n spread that every call is not a scammer n we as a human being hv all the rights to be respected.instead of thanking us for all the hard work n efforts we put it in to resolves their debts they curse us,laugh at us,abuse us, toyed us n also hung up the calls on our faces just because we call them up n hv accent, this is totally unacceptable so pliz share n educate this info too that thy r overly mistaken n mistreating us..pliz pliz pliz help me spread this unfair treatment.THANK YOU
Funny how all these people have a Asian accents , we have them over here claiming they work for Microsoft, one told me I was having trouble with windows on my computer, impossible I run Apple computers which don't have windows on them, but it didn't stop me stringing him along I was bored on a Wednesday afternoon, it's got to be done.
It's funny how your phone can be tapped, but nobody does nothing to fix these terrible attacks! You know the money is going to the government. But the government's not getting it. And they also don't see the appreciation from the people. Though it's a false sense of appreciation!..
I agree major chunk of the scammers are indians but we are 1.3 billion people here so every coin has both sides, But see in this scam some kind greedy nature of the callers or the victims so.... In the world we are leaving nothing comes for free
Other than greed or confusion caused by reduced mental capacity, why would anyone get taken in by these muppets? If it seems too good to be true, it is!
