Our Constitution allows VONC, maybe the Parliament should analyse the provision and return to people to seek their views and review the provision allowing change of govt on the floor of parliament. Definately the current practise exercise by members of parliament is messy and making MPs look stupid. We saw this crazy moves in February and now, and in the 10th parliament, 9th, 8th, 7th and going back to 1980, the first VONC. Okuk moved the motion and the last man standing became the PM. I was there with my Sogeri colleagues (students) withnessed a very honourable change. But today, members are crazy. No ethics, no plans and members go with no heads! GG should dissolve parliament and return to the constituencies to come up with a new mandate for a new govt. GOD BLESS PNG.

We live in a world where words are cheap, speaker's words are not cheap, they are worthless!

We have this notion that corruption will cease to exist when the PM is replaced, but we must remember that these MPs were ordinary people before they assumed office, and we voted for them. Places like Enga, Tari, and especially the lower Highlands seem to be breeding grounds for corruption. My apologies to Papua New Guineans the leaders we, the Highlands people, have given to Papua New Guinea. I know it's stereotypical to lump all the Highlands into one category, but when we continue to choose leaders based on wealth, status, and especially bloodshed, we must reflect on the decisions we make as individuals.

When did this move by William Duma take place?

Botswana a country in Africa that has two resources, a diamond mine and tourism. This country became independent 9 years earlier than PNG. With honest leaders they have grown the economy and now their citizens are enjoying high standard of living with GPD per capita of 18,000 US dollars. All PNG parliamentarians should go to Botswana or Singapore to study their economy policies and come back to diversify the economy and grow the economy. These two countries have very little natural resources yet done very well. By the way Singapore GDP per Capita is 50,000 US dollars. PNG Economist tellus what is our GDP per capita for our citizens. PNG leaders should be ashamed that they are leading their citizens to below poverty line. Very big shame in the eyes of the international community.
