Recently moved in with a south Indian family and saw some south Indian movies. Was surprised to see how shitty looking actors are considered as cult just because of nepotism. All the actors are son or relative of some old great actor. No space for actresses on screen. All the movies are just about heroes. South Indian is way more fucked than Bollywood.
Dear all, please don't forget Sushant and start watching nepotism movies after few weeks. They have taken advantage of short memory of public. Abetted suicide it was for sushant. I have met him personally at DTU. Have not been able to stop tears since 14th June. He was too good to be here!
If Govinda's position is that high, why didn't he get platforms to release his films? He just got lucky during the 90's for a short period. People found his films entertaining during that period. Nobody even remembered him after 2000s. If he was such a big star, then producers and directors would have lined up to sign him. Here, he's saying he didn't get opportunity to act. What stardom is this? A star who's not respected by anyone.

He is an immensely talented actor but he needs to understand that now the type of films have changed. Now the script has to be realistic and relatable.

He is a great actor who could carry any kind of role with sheer good but the arrogance and casual approach to work along with neglect about expanding his range beyond the comedy or dance, took his career down to the ground. He is much more responsible for his destruction than anybody else. Sad but true. Once he became famous he rarely cared about anybody else's interests including those of his own producers , directors, etc!

We all love Govinda, but the thing is, his era has been gone since 2010. I don't think him being a lead hero actor suits him anymore. He is in the same generation as Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, etc. And they all are/were successful side role supporting actors. Govinda sir with all due respect I think it's better to just walk away at this point.
Govinda's film was not getting screen, all his hardwork in vain. So much insecure r the people who are doing this. This simply shows their incapability in their field. 7:56-8:20 Govinda rightly said this is what is happening.
Same thing happened with SSR. His film Drive didn't get a theatre and was released on Netflix. Happens with people who become a threat to No. 1 position
But that was a shitty movie , it would have bombed at the box office , so it makes sense that it was released on OTT . And have u seen the last few movies of Govinda … they all sucked ..
Govinda slapped a fan. He slapped his directors, quarreled with co-stars, demeaned and disrespected his directors and producers and his seniors. He deserved his fall and he is still stuck in the 90s
Its not good to blame entire industry when you are well inside that industry. Govinda lost movies because of his own faults, irregularities and arrogance
