honestly, this looks pretty good, wasn't expecting this to be too crazy and wasn't expecting this to become the best thing to happen to GPO. It pretty much did it's job, being gear second.
@fax obviously it's iconic, but compared to luffy's other forms/moves (like gear 4th and 5th) it gets overshadowed. Also, from what we see, gear second has everything needed to be GEAR SECOND, people really have high standards for this just because it's gomu even though it's only gear second. But, it's also an opinion so you can take this how you want.
@fax not really in the anime it's just luffy but pink and glowing.and his moves become faster and stronger with the editions of some new moves it was never devils union or gear 4 level of flashy

The mode bar is a great idea for transformations but I dont think it should work like the ult bar instead it should start off fully charged and once the bar runs out it starts to recharge again, kinda like the logia bar you can train your mode bar to last longer and regen faster. Gomu is a really creative fruit with tons of moves i think some sort of progression for devil fruits and fighting styles could be added that would give you moves and other rewards just for simply using the fruit/fighting style this could make move sets more diverse and creative and make combat feel more lively. Also logia forms would be great for logias kinda like how kuzan gets covered in ice the more he uses his abilities. A progression system could also be a great way to get certain transformations like the gear 4th variations
@@dadude8058 Nah, It's C tier at best. Gatling not extending at base alongside the fact landing it gets you punished sucks. Bazooka is a 50/50, your either nearby and get a combo off it or you get cucked by the knockback and can't dash in time for a combo extender/guardbreak. Pistol is worthless, alongside Balloon. Rocket is okay as a traversal option. Rifle is a pretty bad ult in comparison to most. ( Bari is worser in terms of everything. But at least it has a niche.)
@@TheForgidbearbackers yeah i agree with you. The only moves that did like 80% of the damage is basically gatling. But it still depends on the user. You can decide how good you use it
@@dadude8058 Nah, I disagree. Even if you had the best player just use gum without blades or a fighting style they'd resort to stalling and blocking until they get their gatling back. Plus you gotta take into account the damn m1 range of a regular fist, and the fact that even with max stats on gum you deal at best 800 dmg. Which dosen't even limp your opponent nowadays.
I'm glad to see that phoeating is starting to respond to his communitys suggestions. The game started dying because pho chose milking his community of their money rather than listening and reviving the game. This fruit looks cool, clean and balanced. Altho I doubt the game will ever be as popular he's starting to go in the right path for the games future
My only request is that you make jet stomp go a little higher up just so its more visually appealing, and depending how high, add a tiny bit stun to cover the extra split second you spend falling down
Honestly everything looks great ! 2 things, wish we could've seen the maxed out damage and also with Buso Haki, and I really hope before update you could give Red Hawk a dash similar to Rifle considering this is how Luffy always did it ( Red Hawk derives from Gomu Gomu no Bullet after all )
It would be great rework on the old fighting styles, so that they keep up with the new ones, especially in m1, sabo's fighting style is far above compared to the others, and it is very difficult to get him
All the fighting styles except for mink are all able to do well. Dragon claw lets u use the style alone but it costs u points. Ppl who use soru and blackleg can save much more points do damage and have more freedom in their builds
If the haki color for elephant gun is different depending on which v2 color you got then this would need to apply with mochi cause its a mythic and it would make sense
I feel like pistol should auto track, gum gum pistol is such an inconsistent move because of how often it misses. Making it auto track would greatly increase the fruits combat value, still keep the move low damage and quick cool down…but it should auto track like ABA pts luffy for example 😅🤷🏽♂️ just a suggestion
Yo dev man, if I may make a request: Now that you’re adding more rage modes, could you add one for goro? It’s super underrated rn and I have a feeling you could make that arruni form (or whatever the hell it’s called) really sick
i feel like elephant gun should have been replaced by a bigger and stronger jet gatling and jet gatling replaced with jet bazooka, and then actually make a gear 3 with like moves elephant gun, red roc, grizzly magnum or like elephant/roc gatling
if they ever add awakened fruits, maybe awakened gum would be like current luffy being able to use gear 2 and 3 moves in base, and having gear 4 as a mode
huh? nah gear four might drain ur haki bar since that what happens in anime, gear 5 would probably be a mode bar that takes alot more damage to fill up like maybe you need to be under 10% hp for gear 5 or maybe build up a lot of damage, gear 2 only needs a couple hits to fill up the bar. it would be another button just like gear 2 is to transform it would sit ontop of gear 2 transformation button

Maybe make elephant gun more of a ultimate, give it the option to be charged to make it bigger and increase irs damage. Cause it do be looking kinda weak.
looks amazing, though im a slight bit dissapointed considdering how long it took for gear 2 to be added, the only really good looking thing here is elephant gun, looks and feels fine but just wish they added a bit more pop made it look cooler yknow

Ngl everything looks kinda epic, I mean elephant gun is definelty really heavy on those effects which idk how to feel about, and stamp feels too fast to actually appreciate (kinda wish jet bazooka was in there instead) but besides that pretty solid gear 2nd. Can’t wait for the update😊
the red hawk could be a jet rifle and when you activate the haki it turns into the red hawk, elephant gun same thing, gigant pistol without haki, and with haki elephant gun

Bruh rework base gomu moves bc if we need dmg with regular gomu before we can go into gear 2 that's going to be pretty hard with its current moveset. Give it more damaging moves
W gear 2 but i got a few suggestions, try to make the arms more visible on the jet gatling, and for jet whip try to make it so it actually extends the leg depending on height for example
@@IAMINSIDEYOURWALLS604 honestly they’re taking a good route. Gomu is a rare but in order to get it to be good you have to work hard just like luffy did. Base gomu requires hella skill and getting gear 2 is probably gonna be a hard quest. Imagine the g4 quest
my favourite part of the vid is when phoyu started getting clapped when the dummy started using gear 2 he had to remove it before he died in the presentation🤣🤣🤣
Luffy was able to some sort of bypass tekkai(correct me if im wrong). It wouldve been awesome, if gear 2 will do more damage or completely ignore tekkai with some of the moves(the ult probably alr does).
@@nexusjohnn3681 400+ could easily be 600+ and 600 plus could be more. It depends on the build. Not only that but this fruit is covered in combo extenders. 1.8k damage would get worked against a good player
Everything is amazing well done with the animations besides Gattling it seems very small compared to the anime/manga version but besides that again amazing job
Imagine a mera ulting in final circle then a gomu user shows up and activates gear second He cant save himself so he wont let you live and then proceed to break your tekkai,now think twice should it break it?

tbh, pho should add a mod bar about the healing. ppl hate the healing only and ppl rlly might just wanna fly around and chill. pho, i think my idea is bettewr than adding a transform mode bar. maybe just like teh damage u do makes teh amount u can heal
I don’t know if it’s intended but I really like how in rage mode you don’t use any stamina from using moves. I think that’s a fair trade off for the rage bar
dawg what 😭 making moves in rage not use stamina would be unbalanced as hell lol, you get to spam moves while your opponent has to manage their stamina. it WOULDN'T be a fair trade off for the rage bar, as you actually need stamina to use most of the stuff in a fight, while rage bar doesn't remove anything from your character, meaning that you don't really lose anything for using rage mode, unlike stamina. Pho just removes the stamina drain to make showcasing the moves easier.
