I've got a Jack Russell when there's a bit of EMI around he'll start to howl at the machine the larger the coil the more interference the more he howls, this is most likely the case with your little fella. It must go straight through them. Have fun on your holiday it's gets cold down that end of the world, even colder than your cold arse town.👍

i run the old 10x5 mono joey coil on my 4500 its dynamite they made a dd the same size these little coils are hard to find these days the sadie is a little better .

Hey chief,, I am wondering if you have done any more work with the 24 x 12 coil and what you think of it ? do you think it hit deeper (on say 1 gram size and up nuggets) than a 17 x 13 Evo ? I'd assume that it would being a 6'' longer coil winding, I would probably go the solid 24 x 12 if I get one though..

Well done there Marky you might need to test that 12 x 24 coil on some of those little nuggies you snagged with the Sadie coil. I think the large coil might not see them unless it is right on top of it. It may not detect the little nugs at 50mm in the dirt.
