We aimed to complete the GR221 across the Serra De Tramuntana within 8 days in Sept 2022. We didn't plan any accommodation ahead and just set off not knowing fully what to expect. We had everything we needed including a tent and it was hot!
After being out of action for the second half of the Summer due to an ankle injury we decided at the last minute to throw in a trek across the Mallorca mountain region.
We didn't take any maps as most of the route is way marked but we did take and use the Cicerone guide which was invaluable.

As we had not done any long distance trekking for quite some time our feet had become soft and we got huge blisters which we managed over the course of the week.
