If you make the wall hanging that you cut in half you should sandwich the yarn and the hanger between the top and bottom cut pieces and see if that holds better for you. I myself love yarn, crocheting and knitting. I just learned how to knit and OMGosh it is easy so much easier than crocheting which too is easy for me personally I was taught as a small child. You should try it, it is very relaxing and super addictive.

It's just amazes me what some of you crafters come up with, like who would think to wrap yarn around a piece of wood and then paint it and put it on paper, and then to think how beautiful it is when you add an accent piece over it, I would just never think to do anything like that and I always thought I was pretty creative, I really loved the green print over the long piece of wood stamp, very nice!!

I watched the day you posted it and fell in love with the rainbows. My second granddaughter is due in June. Her nursery is in grays, light pinks and a peachy/pink. So I made one in with four colors. Two shades of gray, light pink and a beautiful peachy/pink. It turned out amazing. The baby shower is on the 9th, this Saturday. I can't wait to give it to them. Thank you so much for this great idea, it's perfect.💜

Wrapping rubber bands to make stamps works great too. Gives a cleaner line and you can even make lined notepaper out of old paper- I’ve used grocery bags.

Before starting on budget crafting I was doing dream catchers and macrame and the half circle with hanging yarn was what got me into the crafting on a budget genre. I was convinced I could dupe those huge ones I saw online. I ordered circles that I cut in half and decoupaged napkin on the wood and tied up bundles of three strings and glued those knots down across the back and covered with a strip of ribbon. I like your idea of sandwiching the yarn between the two half circles. Some great inspo in this video. Thanks!
