It is pal.Once you can understand if this was a race the pro’s are sprinting we are all but walking. Build on the fundamentals is key and takes a very long time. I would be in my last year as an apprentice if I were a tradesman but yet I’m still going on about pre shot routines Lol Thank you for watching and commenting. Nice part of the world Norwich
Great video, I've just been taking it seriously for a couple of months, before that, I'd played the odd frame here or there. Totally agree, the discipline in what and then how to practice is so important to progress
Thank you for watching pal Yes I’m on my 3rd year and learning all the time. I say this lots good proper practice on cue straight and cueing technique is the key to this game.
@@TheSnookerShed Thanks for that little nugget. By the way, I'm from Bradford and have joined Joe johnson's club which is just down the road. I've also played on Joe's table which is the one he won the 86 world championship on (only just found that out last week). Cheeers, Stanislaw.
@@Frogbillards keep going pal if it was easy every one would be good. Playing well after all the practice and hard work is the reward that only a few feel
Awesome coaching there mate. I have to admit I was getting lazy with the pre-shot routine, but I loved the reminder “Ask yourself, am I Ronnie, Judd, John or a professional? If not, then care and attention must be taken.” Also getting down and don’t start the feathers till you’re sure it’s right is great advice. Lots of times I feel it’s too late to stop taking the shot and of course I miss it (by a mile).
Great video again. I’ll defo be trying harder to stay down on the shot a bit longer. I find my concentration does dip after about an hour or so. This might just help. South London is where I’m at.
Thanks for watching pal Yeah staying down is such a winner. My first video was about staying down it’s so so important to learning and so improving. Just over 3 years I have been playing now and I put a lot of my good play to staying and observing
im playing pool and snooker I'm good at pool and I've recently learned how important the pre shot routine is I'm trying to learn one I've got a 80 break in the line because of it I feel like I'm not going to miss when I'm in a rythmm and the pre shot routine helps me to get into a rythmm
I would say it’s up there Alex Mark Selby has no issues with head moment at all but for the rest of us mortals I would suggest it’s better still than not. If you think that it’s your eyes your aiming with moving you head will move them too Thanks for watching pal
Hi Andy -- Thank you for another excellent video. I have a problem with darting my eyes to the pocket before the object ball reaches it.Doing this causes me to move my head and it usually causes me to miss the pot. Can you offer advice on how to correct this problem please?😸
Hey Kendall how are you mate? You know Stephen Hendry dose this during his feathers just without the head movement. What I would suggest is at the part when you cast your eyes away you can do it as a extra feather rather than during the delivery. Or try what I do when you start your backswing stare at contact point on the object ball or the CB. Your brain is looking for confirmation of the path to the pocket so also try spending a little more time on getting the line and checking you on the the correct line. Hopefully like most habitats knowing you have it is always the key to getting rid of it. Keep in touch
Trevor How are you doing mate hope you liked the video. So my back garden was too small for a full size table and I wanted to practice every day. I was looking to get a century on a line up so the table was designed for that. As I have used the table over the last 2 years it’s so much more. Oh and I think it saved my marriage hahah
Hahahah aye I did look at smaller tables but it was going to even tight with a 9 footer. That meant smaller balls ext and really would not replicate a full size well enough. Have a look through some of my stuff before being on RU-vid. You will see the uses I get from the table. What I can say it not forgiving for lack of position when you can get the cue in hahahah
