This was Grace Bowers first Northern California performance. Great warm up for the band's show the following day at the Bottle Rock Festival there in Napa, CA. I was standing underneath the mains, so the audio isn't all that great.
Agreed. There were some great moments, especially the last tune...Fabulous musicianship, but I'm really looking forward to seeing them in a year from now after they've had some to time mature as a unit.
@@Hegstuffing Yeah, Grace is shy, but she eventually let loose, especially when she walked in the crowd. You’re right, in a year when she’s had a ton more stage time it will be amazing. I’m a drum enthusiast so I was watching him a lot. He’s a beast.
@@TravisPacheco1 The drummer is fabulous. And I watched one of your drumming video.. Solid, man! I don't know what it sounded like out front, but often times, Grace was clearly not loud enough during her solo breaks. I've noticed the same in *many* videos of her performances. Such an impressive player at such a crazy young age. I wish I could have gone to the show the next day. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bLgi24KLuqs.html
1 - Again, Esi's singing is not audible. 2 - Esi, please, stop smiling, stop all that dancing. Start playing some instrument. 3 - Some time and space must be reserved for Esi, for her singing. 4 - It's mandatory that Esi together with Grace take the central place... or you guys start an only instrumenta band. 5 - Grace and Esi, you need to interact more... you need to be in constant interaction. Up to now, u r not. 6 - Some more energy, please. 7 - This band can be great. This band is already very good. But it can be great.
Stop smiling and dancing? What a ridiculous idea. They aren't playing poker, they are playing very joyful music if you haven't noticed. The band is new, give it time. It's also in a small club with probably a small PA system, so the vocals are always gonna be a bit quieter unless they are literally screaming over the drums and amps. Some more energy? Does this not satisfy you? Or should they be playing Motorhead songs instead? Personally, I love them. I think they're all just fantastic, and I know a lot about music. I can't wait to see where their careers go, because this band is ALREADY GREAT.
