One of the most powerful and chilling voices i've ever heard. I really hope Grace blows up, more people need to hear her music and her voice.

I just saw Grace Cummings and Her Band at the Croxton Bandroom tonight February 22, 2020 in Thornbury Melbourne and she blew my socks off - I hope to see her more on RU-vid and live!!! She reminds me of a bit Ed Kuepper.

One of my favorites discovers (stranger pandemics years) inside my favorites folk albums. Her voice is full of lights & darkness at the same time, exactly like all her poems/letters too. BRAVE! 👊🏽❤️

I don't know where that voice comes from, but I am certain that Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Freddie Mercury, Nina Simone and Tom Jone all spent some time there. First time I heard her, I almost fell over. She electrifies with every syllable. Immediately buying her album on vinyl ranks as one of my better life decisions.

listened to this about 5 times in a row. Truly incredible. The lyricism is on point. The guitar has a sort of despondent, droning effect, but it's steady and provides a meditative atmosphere. "There flies a seagull. Shoot it down." That just blew me a way. For sure checking out this album.
